Both Vephyrus and I are truly humbled by the faith that you have all placed in us and we plan to return this faith by doing everything in our power to turn WG around and make us the best clan in every facet of clan life. Now I would like to remind you all that The Wilderness Guardians is a clan built around passion, commitment, and respect towards and for one another. Each and every one of us has forgotten these morals in some shape or form, and it has clearly shown as the clan has slowly declined and become a shadow of its former self. We the council today are addressing each and every one of you as our brothers and sisters, to challenge you to change this, if you want The Wilderness Guardians to succeed then you need to step up and prove what this clan is made of. Do you all want to be the clan that is joked about and approached for an easy fight? Or Do you want us to thrive and be respected by the clan world and have other clans aspire to be what we are! TODAY IS THE DAY THAT WE BEGIN TO TURN THINGS AROUND, TODAY IS THE DAY THAT EACH AND EVERY ONE OF US TURNS AROUND AND SHOWS WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A TRUE WILDERNESS GUARDIAN! Now for us to get things moving we have developed some key focuses, these require each and every one of you to give it your all and make it your priority: RECRUITING: This is the primary goal for this month. OUR AIM IS 65 MEMBERS BY THE END OF JUNE. It is expected that each and every one of you creates an account on the TIP.IT forums and The Runescape Community forums and attempts to actively recruit from the “Looking for a clan sections” and also visit the Runescape forums doing the same thing. We WILL be bringing in a rewards system very shortly for all of you and it is expected that you strive to compete for these rewards and they will be not only highly beneficial but truly amazing. We WILL be arranging official content for members to use and I would implore our extremely talented graphics designers to get to work creating as much amazing content as possible. There will be an Important Announcement made very shortly containing very in depth details on this topic so please ensure you watch closely for this topic and make use of it to its full potential. PVP: This is the secondary goal for this month and will become our primary goal once our aims for recruitment become stable and satisfactory. Firstly and foremost as of this weekend we will be providing the opportunity for aspiring raid leaders to show us their potential. I will be asking at the beginning of both raids for those whom wish to have their chance, and we will then provide each person with 10-15 minutes to prove themselves. I expect that all members show respect during this process and follow the orders given by the people trialling. If you attend both raids I may even let you trial a second time if you are unhappy with your trial at the first raid. After both raids are complete I will be opening applications for those who wish to apply, anyone is welcome to apply however performance during the raids will be taken into consideration so I implore you to take the opportunities given during the raids. The applications will then be open until Midnight Saturday morning and the raid leaders will be announced shortly after Gene and I have had a chance to discuss the applications. As you may have guessed from a few mentions in the above paragraphs this weekend we will be reintroducing a second permanent raid. This will be a GMT and American Friendly raid. The times for our two raids will now be: GMT/American Raid: PST: 1PM Sat Central: 3PM Sat EST: 4PM Sat GMT: 9PM Sat AEST: 6AM Sun Australian Raid: PST: 2AM Sun Central: 4AM Sun EST: 5AM Sun GMT: 10AM Sun AEST: 7PM Sun The new raid may be subject to a time change over the next few weeks until we are happy that we have the perfect time for it. TRAINING: I will be looking into introducing a weekly PVP training event very shortly. This will be a compulsory weekly event until we are satisfied with the clan’s performance, our focus for the event each week will be determined by our previous week’s performance. I am looking for input into a suitable time; however this will most likely be at: Starting June 11th after Keanu's allied raid this week. PST: Fri 2PM Central: Fri 4PM EST: Fri 5PM GMT: Fri 10PM AEST: Sat 7AM The reason this is being hosted at this time is because I would like to make sure that it is fresh in everyone’s heads and so as we can then take it into PVP for the weekend and focusing on improving on our focus. I would also like all of you to make the effort to focus upon training combat, as it has been made clear in our last few fights, levels can have quite a large impact upon a fight, so I plan upon introducing rewards for combat training once we are satisfied with stability in our recruitment, this will be in the same form as our rewards for recruitment.
