Put vinegar on it. It takes away the burning and heat in your skin. Plus you will be less likely to burn. Don't worry the smell goes away as it dries.

yeah vinegar helps with all kinds of skin stuff because its ph balance is basically the same as healthy skin...and yeah the smell will go away, or just do it when you won't be around anyone...id deal with that smell over sunburn pain any day

Aloe is also good for soothing it, you can buy gel of it...it just doesn't help as much with the healing process as vinegar

I'm like...the palest person on the planet and I can get sunburns that are horrible in just a few minutes, so I speak from experience =P

Oh really? I heard that vinegar was good for body acne, didn't know it helped with sunburn.

It's not too bad today cept for my shoulders and face, sleeping was hard last night sad.gif

Got some aloe from my friends house today, didn't have anything to use at home. I think the only vinegar I have is balsamic vinegar :/

Actually it is good for acne too. You just do the hot water on a clothe to open pores then put the vinegar on your skin with a cotton ball. It clears up all kinds of stuff.

I keep a spray bottle in my shower caddy with vinegar in it for my hair too. I rinse it once a week then condition afterward as a routine thing to not get build up of products.

My mom cleans with it around the house too.
