It's 4:22 in the morning, and my latest video's in rendering. I skipped a couple unedited clips which I can always go back to, because this one is the one video that needs to be done with priority. We ended our losing streak. I haven't been to a more worthy war since the Great War, and even that doesn't come half as close as to the Battle of Turning Tides (Except in terms of numbers and looks maybe). Gene released the war preparation video earlier on, which featured me as the only WG member in the video who's picture includes the WG T-shirt - YEAH! And I don't think I've ever seen a better flash video. It's indescribable in words... well, except for the words "Indescribable in words", because they technically do describe it, but whatever. I went to bed after what some people call a football match (4-1, I call that an epic failure) and got up an hour or so before war prep, and had a shower. I estimate the shower took 15-20 minutes, which is one of the shortest full showers I've ever had. Huh. I could never manage to shower that fast for school or collage or work, yet I managed it for a WG war? I'm fucked up. So after getting my WG t-shirt on, I trained almost to 91 attack/118 P2P combat and then we massed at Juliet's house. First time I've ever massed in the legendary massing location. So the usual routine began, including His Lordship's speech. I couldn't really process it at the time, but listening to the recordings, I can see how amazingly accurate it was, as to the war that followed. I suppose I should mention that Gene led the war on a re-named Keiscool - my first main. My FIRST main, with so much history already, led the Wilderness Guardians into the Battle of Turning Tides - one of the most epic wars I've ever seen and the war that broke our losing streak. It's historical. Monumental. But getting too far ahead. After heading to the Monastery and letting Gene poo, we headed up around the lava maze while I tried to sort my laptop out so I would't be lagging to hell. At rune rocks I got my 91 attack/118 combat while Gene got raped by a level 7 revenant. With no food he managed to tank out to mossies, so I'm thinking Keiscool might have a spark of tank in him. After that we just smashed the fuck out of DB. The opening spam was off the screen - and I play in fullscreen. In the Great War, I was the first death, and got KOed by about 4 people without the chance to even eat a single food. Now, in the Battle of Turning Tides, I barely got hit, and only ate one rocktail and one pie. The entire clan had maybe 3 deaths, and we were just dropping DB like rocks. Before I knew it, it was over. And that was it - our losing streak was gone. I might be wrong, but I think that's the first war I've fought in with WG that we've won. Whatever the case, it's one not to forget. So my video's at 23% at the moment. Great feedback on our Tip.It and RSC topics, with some light flaming from VR as expected. And of course, two people have already beaten me to making videos, [HURR DURR DURR DERP DERP DERP]. And the war forum is now filled with victory and video topics, two of which are randomly entitled "Dear Diary". And I'm the only one who's actually made a diary entry. Insane. Me and Keanu spoke about it and I informed him of the significance of the song "Till I collapse" And how the song is there because of our reluctance to lose the war and our will to keep fighting till we collapsed. Currently there is another video in the mix.
