      IRC Nickname: Gorgemaster Group: Elite Guardian Posts: 9840 Member No.: 3 Joined: December 26, 2007 Total Events Attended: 540    | ~ ~ ~ George's Guide to the Fishing/Cooking Skilling Cup ~ ~ ~ Various trial methods have demonstrated that the Piscatoris Fishing Colony is the best place to get good fishing and cooking exps in a short amount of time, so here is how you do it. Requirements: Completion of the Swan Song Quest 62 Fishing 62 Cooking 74 Summoning [Recommended] Inventory:  You CANNOT bank AT ALL during your session, not even to collect anything, nor can you trade AT ALL, so you have to have everything you need for the 2 hours in your inventory at the start. So: 1 x Small Net (can be bought from the Piscatoris Shop) 1 x Summoning Potion 3 x Granite Lobster pouches (Each lasts for 45 minutes) Where: Piscatoris Fishing Colony!  Strategy: Your aim is to get the highest fishing and cooking exp that as possible in 2 hour sessions. The best way to do this is to get friends to help light fires beside you when you are almost finished fishing a load. So here is what you do. 1. Summon your Granite Lobster, (or Ibis) if you are not 74 Summon, get your friend ready and start fishing a load of monkfish. 2. When you have 1-2 monkfish left to catch, get your friend to light a fire NEXT to you. He will need AT LEAST yew or magic logs. Maples do not last for a full invent of cooking. 3. Cook your monkfish on the fire. 4. DROP every cooked monkfish. You cannot bank cooked fish. 5. Repeat until you have done this for 2 hours. What sort of exps should I be getting? Fishing and Cooking exps will vastly differ depending on your levels in those two skills. The following are based on my poor levels of 86 fishing and 87 cooking: In ONE hour, I gained aprox 30k fishing exp and 36k cooking exp = 66k total exp for one hour. Therefore, in TWO hours I could have gained 60k fishing exp, 72k cooking exp and therefore 132k exp in total. All of the competitors have higher levels than me and therefore will gain more... perhaps anywhere from 150k ---> 180k in 2 hours, if not more. Any questions?
