Sativas (99 Fish, 99 Cook) 8. Clown_Horn (84 Fish, 99 Cook) 9. Zemus3654 (96 Fish, 99 Cook) 10. Dorcha3377 (95 Fish, 99 Cook) They all have been selected to represent WG in the Jagex Skill Cup! The Structure of the Skilling Cup: The two skills chosen are Fishing and Cooking. The week of skilling will begin on July 18th (7.01 pm EST) , and will end on July 25th (6.59 pm EST). Everyone on the team is required to do AT LEAST 4 hours of mining (2 x 2 hour sessions) where the object is to get the highest exp per hour as possible. HOWEVER. I want everyone to do 3 sessions (6 hours) MINIMUM, the more the better though. Meanwhile: 1. All competitors need to do the 'Swan Song' quest if you haven't already. Fishing Monkfish is the best exp. 2. Consult my Fishing/Cooking Cup Guide, which details which summoning familiars you can use to help you. Stock up on pouches for the highest familiar you can (Granite Lobster is the highest - pouches DO sell atm). 3. Familiarise yourself with the rules of the competition by clicking HERE. 4. Familiarise yourself with the list of DISALLOWED ITEMS by clicking HERE. Congratulations again on being chosen you ten, this is a big responsibility and we must do well in this competition. The Skilling Week: You have exactly 7 days, until July 25th, 6.59pm EST, to do your 2 (prefferably 3) sessions of skilling. 1 session = 2 hours, where fishing and cooking are the main skills trained. I STRONGLY suggest that you GO OVER THE 120 MINUTE MARK. So skill solidly for like 130 MINUTES, just to be sure that you have two hours covered. You MUST post your hours on THIS TOPIC as you get them, so I know who is doing well and who is lagging behind. An indication of your average exp would be incredible as well. Also important is: All of the XP that you gain has to be from using the skill. Gaining XP from any Distraction and Diversion or quest reward will invalidate the session. Sorry mate, haven't been on at all today. Um basically I was in a bit of a panic at the very end of the sign up time and I had to fill 2 spots very rapidly, like within an hour of the deadline, so I was forced to find people that had relatively good levels and were in the IRC channel at the time (so I could ask them there and then).
