to what your mind tells you.

there's something wrong i can describe in a long as essay that is irrevelant because as you may noticed i'm a critic. =D

but i'm also thoughtful and fast learner.

QUOTE
I want a pure pking clan/team and thats what i'm going to look for , because thats where my experience lies - pking. I also feel un-involved with the clan and not noticed or respected.

when you read this. what comes to mind?

To be frank Sgt, reading that out of context does not really help to show people what the real issue is. Look at the full post (and who posted it) and you start to notice a variety of different reasons that he may feel like that, and while some of them may be blamed on WG members, it seems like a significant amount of blame lies with him for not trying harder himself.

I think this is a key statement:

QUOTE
I'm sorry no topics on here take my intrest enough for me to post.

I really struggle with that, WG has a vibrant forums with a wide variety of different personalities and I cannot imagine any situation where there is 'nothing' that is interesting enough to post upon. I think that this is actually more a result of inactivity/a lack of visiting forums.

The IRC, TeamSpeak, Forums and RS/Events are all absolutely critical if you want to fully fit in within WG (probably in that order of importance), and if someone is significantly lacking in more than one of those they're probably going to find that they will feel that they are 'un-involved' with the clan.

If you look at WG's history, often the people who do the best within WG are those who contribute the most through attending events, posting on forums, being on IRC and playing RS. Not being able to graduate within (or close to) the 1 month requirement is a pretty good indicator of someone who is not achieving one/all of the above.

I'm going to be intelligent and say 'what JC said'

The quote you have their shows 2 things. 1 - he may not fancy a clan like WG which balances pking, skills and community, 2 - he didn't feel involved. For 2, there's no one really to blame, but regardless of the reasons it shouldn't be happening.

Bet Ben didn't expect all this discussion to spring off his leaving post, lol hash.png

There's nothing really to discuss, just lets keep the community as strong as its been over the years, simple ;D

woke up this morning and i read this and i was like thinking along the lines of what jc said.

what interest me though was the reactions that occured afterwards from wg members which are opposite from what is stated above.

if you do state that no one is to blame. how come there where "i'm sorry" and apology statements?

and like tunac said. all the discussion that started afterwards which included his lordship was truly unecessary. it's a good bye thread not a please help me be good. thread.

with that said. i'll finish with this statement

please, listen to your mind next time and don't react just because, but rather accept it as it is and move on. if you can learn from it then so be it.

on a personal note. i understand rigid quite plainly because I need to become a better Merchanter.

We've had like 10 people leave for similar reasons it's nothing new.

if 10 people leave for the same reason. we're making the same mistakes.

in all honesty. it should be us influencing them. not the other way around.

Not really, we can never be a pure pk clan.
The staff don't want it and the members don't want it. That would mean virtually no "community" events.

The majority of WG members joined WG for the variety and the community - i certainly did. There are loads of clans around that only pk, yet the member chose WG.

Truth.

But still, there should always be some activity enforcement.
Perhaps a separate PvP event counter?

i think lot of people like to pk with some additional community stuff aswell. if we can get tthe right balance there shouldnt be too many problems. i think randy's idea isn't bad either.
