WG is a good clan. We can pull decent numbers, have a stable leadership, and a reputation to brag about. With that being said, sometimes I feel like we are never using our full potential. We PK a few times per week but it seems like we only care about gaining loot. Every time we run into a clan, outnumbered or not, our first instinct is to run and tele. Besides the few scheduled wars, fighting other clans has become a foreign concept. It's about time we started focusing on the advancement of ranks. You know, posting nights out, getting multiple wars per week, expecting people to return. For the longest time (years, even), WG has been blaming our lack of PvP seriousness on our community. Every time someone calls us a "community clan" I rage inside. Are we really a community clan? Or are we a PvP clan with a community? There's a huge difference.

If we want success we have to be serious. If someone doesn't sign up for a war, don't just warn them - give them a last warning. If they can't take 20 seconds to sign up then they can't last hours at a pkri. If people don't return, skip, or screw around give them a warning. There was too many skippers at our most recent raid. Too many is one, by the way. We're too relaxed with our standards. If it's not a war with sign ups, everyone thinks it's ok to skip.

If you look at the top 10/20/30 clan topic on RSC, you will notice WG never, ever gets ranked. This isn't because we're bad. In fact, i'm confident we could take majority of these clans and teams. The problem is that we're not putting ourselves out there. Although people might troll "WG still exists!?!?" in the beginning, enough topics will shut them up.

Everyone's doing a great job. There's a few dead-weight members, but we can work past that. There has to be a time were we say "Alright, lets do it" and

I totally agree - 100%.
I think the worst thing is that we still have staff members who are skipping, they know who they are. I mean, if you are going out in like 5 mins after raid starts, that's fine, but if you are just like training skills or doing whatever during the raid, that is completely unacceptable.
It's unacceptable for members and staff are supposed to set a good example... so why do it...

I believe that every member who skipped todays raid, but was online playing RS, deserves to give WG an apology....

Sick of it. It's always the same people every single week as well...

ya noob gorge raid skip, and randy this brings me to the thought about a lot of wg(like me) who dont have the chance to participate in wars during weekdays making it hard to have 4 wars a week unless we want wars one day on a weekend.

Totally agree. I'm sorry if I pissed a few people off by my spamming in #wg-lobby, but i felt it was needed as no other staff were online at the time. But it worked anyway so I'm happy I did it.

As George touched on, I'm not exactly thrilled with the amount of skippers either. Every week, the same people. Needs to get abit more strict on these matters.

As for RSC I'm going to start looking into it after our exams. I want to be able to get us out there. We shut down quite a few clans tonight I'm sure. But if we put all our hands in and look into RSC as a really useful tool, I believe we could get ourselves into the Top 10 very easily. If you can take video's please do.

I apologise if I'm sounding like I've been here for years. But I myself am just trying to help and voice my opinion.

I've seen this post so many times it's not funny but Randy never fails to feel motivating.

It was a really great raid - Feel sorry for those who DID skip it tbh lol. Can't say I agree with everything said, but I agree with the most part (but not loads of wars please! I am hardly able to make these already, and when there are laods of wars - they loose value!)

We'll be discussing this at the staff meeting for sure. Expect some severe cuts to our member list after next activity check. It will be built off the older one+new data. Me and Justin have tried to work within the system and get people active and motivated. Three months of that, now its time to hold those accountable that aren't helping us.

With raids and all events in general, we need to continue to spam while the event is going on. There have been a few times that I have come on, willing to play RuneScape, but no one is telling me that anything is going on.

Reading that post your avatar was so fucking distracting... Yeah sure, we're a PvP clan blah blah i applaud your effort Randy but my honest opinion nothings gonna change. LOL WG #1, go dream some more. Ive been in this clan almost 4 years, we have never reached the top or had an active ML of over 85. We might have reached 90 if my memory is wacked summer of 2008 or maybe it was 2009. But that was our peak in a long time and even then it was enough because thats when DI/ROT/VR and all the otehr powerhouses were out with constant 100+ people each time. Our chance to change will be the best community clan who shows up annually in the wildy then gets cleared by some no namer team.

I wouldn't enjoy returning for hours at all, and that's one of the main reasons I joined WG.
