Obviously that is unacceptable for someone who holds a rank such as myself so I figured I aught to let you all know whats going on with me. Basically I had a pretty big personal issue that I was hit with over a week ago. I'm not going to tell you, or anyone in WG for that matter what exactly it was, but be understanding when I tell you that it was something that made me unable to play RS yet alone fulfill my role as a raid leader. I'm fine now though so don't worry (not like you would anyway #) Anyway now that I'm done explaining my absence over the past two weeks, I should probably let you know whats going on with me in the future. I will be stepping down as Raid Leader (yes you can now go "OMG FINALLY"). This was pretty much inevitable around this time anyway so I figure I might as well get it over with now. I was originally brought back on as a raid leader to be more of a 'mentor' to new raid leaders but never really worked out as well and I had a little bit of confusion with my role. I tried to do what I can and hopefully I never disappointed any of you when I held the rank but I did what I could. The only war I did lead fully from start to finish we won so at least I can say I went out with a 100% win record # This is probably best for WG as there is really no use in having an old veteran worn out leader taking up a position that could really use some new blood. University started this week for me as well so this was bound to happen eventually and now I won't be faced with responsibilities as a raid leader and can focus on my studies. I also really need to start focusing on my professional career. With a fairly recent promotion at work I'm being held responsible for much more and hours are much more demanding. As for what I'm going to do now, I think it would be best for me to take the role of Emeritus. I like to think that I am deserving of the rank by definition... I don't want to become an Elite Guardian because I know I would not be able to be an active enough member of the clan. So yeah it's not like I'm actually leaving, just thought this would be the best forum for me to post in. -------------------- Now back to the good part! | ||

But yeah, you really shouldn't be spending leadership time on RS with uni and a career at your wake. I'm sure you've taught the current RLs some valuable stuff. I gotta say, out of all the raid leaders we've had, you're definitely one of the best if not the best i've seen. Its done wonders to WG in the past.
