Did you guys notice something about the war? Namely where it took place.

From what I made out, it was very much based in the north, often skimming right past their portal.

Might seem like a small point, but it took WG time to run across the map and rest, or walk it, to reach the battle again. Whereas they could pop straight back into the action. Now that's got to be a major advantage to them. If it was based around our portal, would the results have been different?

Something worth considering if it hasn't been thought of before..

Normally you try to tank to your own portal so their people take longer returning.

Hmm, I did overlook this.
The war highlights the difference in skill between our p2p and our f2p.
I wouldn't take it too hard.
We're a p2p clan, and this was good practise for cracking into f2p.

Did anybody else notice they had two tanks out, waiting to get piled, while all the rest were resting on the hill?
Happened a couple of times, and we kept piling the tanks.

Also, why the hell did nobody yell out "repot" or "+15% range" for the kills where we nearly had the person down, yet they tanked it out for another 10s?
Fact is, you don't need all your prayer to tank.
I'd say getting piled on 30-40 prayer is perfectly acceptable.

And we weren't switching to different kills. They were expecting it.
Furthermore, they were sniping well and our snipers (if we had any) didn't make a dent.

This matters though, are unique to a f2p CWRI. One small facet of war.
This was a beneficial war for us.
Identifying our weaknesses makes us stronger.

yea, i was telling the fall in leader to not bother heading north to DW at the start, we should have waited, we had the numbers, they would of had to get the kills.

But we know now.
Mistakes are how we learn.

As a direct result of this war, we're a better clan in f2p.

Hopefully those that kept on getting piled had a decent tank practice.

They were a good clan to fight, very experienced and consistant. Let's not brush it aside and ignore it. There is a lot to learn from Dragonwood.

Its really important we remember all these things we're identifying. If we don't have another war for a while, they can easily be forgotten again and the loss wasted. Needs the raid leaders to make a note or something.

We did well considering how little we f2p. Whatever happened, i'm impressed at our organisation. Its so much better than it used to be in the old days. But we really need to consider the loss carefully. They had less people, but about 50 more kills. Whatever they're doing, its useful to take hede of it, they have impressive organisation.
