The war started off with a traditional big war pre speech by Lordy. And of course, he did not let down expectations yet again with not only a great speech, but in game actions. Next war hopefully we'll see some facepaint.

On log in to the war world, some members found DW intimidating, but once everyone was in the portal, it was obvious they were outnumbered.

+ Zemus - Quikdrawjoe (Both late)

Once the war started, it took 4-5 minutes before any fighting took place as DW had camped at their portal on a hill. After a bad pile early (Members couldn't get a click uphill) we clawed our way back with some nice kos early, however, they also were getting kos, and we piled some tanks.

It kept level up to around 30 kills each, from then on, DW blew away as our members struggled to tank the hybriding DW members.

NOTE: All of their members were hybriding and some even tribriding, in a war where there is range allowed, and the pile is praying melee, nobody should be meleeing unless they are binding, and we shouldnt have 20 binders.

Saying this though, our binds started to struggle later on in the war, most likely due to DW following our pile, getting some nice transistion kills on our binders.

NOTE: Put your sounds on high, and as soon as you hear you getting damage, put on your rune, then pray. If you arnt getting piled, just turn off your pray.

Pros:
- Calling
Although there was a moment where no one called after Darth + BTO got piled, calling was really well through out the war. Low levels were singled out, and even some magers got piled.

- Binds (At times)
There were some great no move binds (Person is binded before he moves) as well as few steps binds. Props to Randy and Flame_Outlaw who I saw were doing some great binding, as well as NH joe, but he was probably binding guys off the pile and their fall in leaders.

Things to work on:
- Tanking
Just got to get your pray up and rune on, saw a few people die in robes and without prayer, try and do these things straight away.
- Returning
When returning, this is what you should do exactly:
1. Run to BH bank.
2. Bank any left over pizza halves if any left.
3. Withdraw full inventory of pizzas.
4. Continue to use all your run to run back to the portal (This means use run as soon as it goes up to 1).
5. Enter the portal TO WATCH.
6. Exit the watching area.
7. Enter the fight arena.

Now you have full run and have returned as fast as possible.

- Rangers
In a range war, we have to have more rangers. People tanking will not be stupid enough to pray range, so this means you get some easy damage, and you do have to run as much.

Overall, it wasn't a bad attempt, we tried our best against a very active and great warring clan, it just wasn't our day. We did great keeping up with them for the first 20 minutes, we just need to be able to hold that instead of losing it.

Their rangers raped us. We were praying melee as they were raping with range.

If we swapped to range pray, they would have swapped to melee. The only thing you can do is pray melee when binded, range pray when running.

I really don't think of this as a total loss at all.
Yeah, we lost the actual war, but I think we did really well, especially in the first half. In the second half, yes, things did lag behind and we were defeated, however, I believe that's not only our fault.
Yes, our binds started to lag, tanking deteriorated and at times, our calling was a bit slow, but DW are a really good F2P clan.
We are not, we're largely P2P now, so don't be too disheartened guys.

We did really well considering, but we can learn a lot from this.

All my pics are erroring, this is the only one i can upload atm neko2.gif

I was very proud to be amongst the members to remained for the whole war, even if I did die 5 times (105, what can you expect?).

I am also quite disappointed in those who just up and left after we started to lose halfway through, its not hard to stay around and lose another 24 anchovy pizzas and help us kill them quicker.

I think our real deal breaker was the same piles on the same people, i understood the attacks on the lower levels, the 108s and 111s, but constantly attacking the same 122's and 124's? They got used to the same attacks and piles and I'm guessing only half of DW actually got dropped.

Also here is a picture of our rangers towards the end:

And here is a picture of DWs rangers at the same time:

Easily double. Oh well.

Edit: Forgot to mention that I really did enjoy the war and I've never been to one with so many WG, good job on attending guys! Keep it up
