Thought i'd recap what happened over the last week for those unaware.

So about a week ago around 100 of the top ranked DG'ers (me included) suddenly dc'd from scape and given a 3-day ban for "bug abuse".

No one knew what the actual bug was, and when we posted on the forums for answers we were met with remarks such as "You obviously cheated stop lying" "be lucky its not a perm ban" etc. Several of which were by mods.

On the last day of the ban, Mod MMH finally posted what the bug was. ""The exploit allowed players to get double xp from a single floor of Dungeoneering. The bug could be and was used multiple times by each player."

Nothing what we expected. Prior to this we came to the conclusion that it must've been for setting traps for npc limit (a very minor issue, confirmed to not even be an offence later).

So we were all banned and permanently tagged as a 'bug abuser' from this incident where none of us had actually done anything. P mods also lost their crown (around 10 of them that i know)

Well finally almost a week after the bans and a lot of raging on the forums, Jagex realised they had made a mistake and apologized. Apology Message

So just started doing some c1 dungeons, halfway through the first floor my friend dc's "Wtf got banned l0lz?", my dungeoneering cc was starting to fill up with spam about people getting banned and then 5mins later, i got banned also.

So yeah, alot of high-dungeoneerers got banned, around 15-20 that i personally know for some 'bug' that we're not even sure of. :kanye:
