It is with a heavy heart that I write my last recap as an Event Leader.
Good times. Sad times. Angry times. Exasperated times. Suicidal times. Fun Times.

We massed at World 27 Edgeville Bank where Ansatsublade got his 99 WC (gratz dude ).
We started off the hunt with FIREWORKS!

So. It was time for 'The Final Scavenge' to begin. I massed everyone up outside the bank, explained the STRICT RULES and posted the clues (which can be found at the bottom of this topic (with the answers)) on the forums.

I then went and hid with Torreoria, after getting a bit lost on the way

All was quiet. Torr and I were just sitting and talking, when all of a sudden... A WILD VEPHYRUS APPEARS!
He hadn't got the items, but had just worked out the location... so he couldn't win!

So we waited... and waited... AND THEN A GREEN DOT APPEARED, by the name of 'Altaire'. He forgot some items or something, but when he eventually turned up with his team mate (Sean_Sabre):



They had got item #3 wrong!

Even so, they eventually got it and won! (2 76ks each and 1 winning underbanner each).





We continued to wait. We waited and waited. Randy was close. He had all the letters, he thought, but kept going to the Watchtower... WHICH DOESN'T CONTAIN THE LETTER V *facepalm*.

Even so, he found me and won second place (2 76ks + the 2nd Underbanner)





THEN WE HEARD THAT KEANU WAS CLOSE.
Everyone barred the door, and when he arrived, tried to keep him out! He eventually burst in, i ran outside, roung the building. WG_Keanu gave chase. After me he went, right round the building! He got me

While he was trading me the items, Randy told me to quick decline the trade, so he clicked on an item and ate it.
I tried... failed. I tried again... failed. BUT THE 3RD TIME IT WORKED, and Keanu drank his dwarven stout.

I was rofl'ing on the floor with the others for the 5 mins it took Keanu to get another one and claim 3rd place:



Keanu won 1 76k , no underbanner.

Hammy was next and came in 4th:



Elyxiatic, despite waking up towards the end of the hunt, came in 5th (gj mate).

After this, Mark eventually came through and so did TheBoy125/Joey.

I soon announced the letters and the final location to those who were still struggling and we all met at the Witchaven location for my final speech.

I said something nice about most people (flamed Vephyrus OF COURSE!), flattered Kyle coz he hawt, expressed my desire to have sex with Kcross and e-high-fived His Lordship....

Then they kept spamming, so da speech endeth.



They then kept following me and wouldn't gtfo

GTFO ME. There's still some noob following me now as I write this. To save his honour and dignity I will not say who.... *cough* _ _ _ _ _ _ _ *cough*

Congratulations to everyone who solved the clues and especially to the four winners.
As you appreciate, this is a busy time for me, but you will get your underbanners, keep nagging me, but it may take a few weeks!

You will also get your 76ks, perhaps after next weeks raid or something!?

Thanks for coming guys. You really did make it a final event to remember.
Going to miss you all immensely and miss being a WG staff member. 3 years, 14 days and 7 hours. Good run I feel.
