I've spent the past two or so hours reading about the forums from the past few days and I've really been coming to the conclusion that every is being extremely immature. Vephy, whether it is you posting the word "fap" a good number of times on multiple topics, or the post about George being banned, then locked, with no explanation. Whether it is simply the just constant flaming and trolling on every topic, or the lack of respect I'm seeing towards our leaders.

I dunno, it isn't really making feel good about things. I would like some other's opinions.

The average age is like 17 I think. 17 year olds are immature.

People may be immature on the forums in some sections but in some they arent and out in the wilderness they sure as hell aren't, you would know this if you attended.

yeah.

I'm sorry that I value my real life time: job, school, girlfriend, more than I value Runescape. Don't flame me, thank-you. I attend when I can.

To make a comment on the immaturity about in the wilderness, I completely disagree. It could be way more serious.

You were online on forums for the whole duration of the Aussie raid.

I have a life, a gf, a job. I still manage to make to a event.

enough trolling, just attend an event.

You know, I'm glad you posted this.
It's best said coming from a trial member.

Guys - senior members of WG. We know each others' personalities and we can troll each other and not worry, but look at what is being seen from the perspective of a newer member. They are looking around our forums going "Wow, this guys are doing really stupid stuff".

Always post with consideration for everyone, not just your direct friends.
Woof, I really like this post. It's a wake-up call.
Guys, pull back. Have fun, but grow up and be considerate. You're talking to friends, but you need to also reach out to the people you don't know so well.

Josh, you should know better than to attack people over the forums.
It doesn't end well. Woof will get defensive and so will you, to save your pride.
Woof couldn't make it. He doesn't have the same life as you.
You've gotta respect that.

Thank-you Lord, I appreciate how you feel. Who knows, I could be completely wrong, but that's just how I feel.

And I am now aware that I've been on during the raid.
#1 I forgot about it
#2 I didn't want to stay up playing RS tonight/wasn't planning on staying up this late
#3 I attend the important wars if I'm home.

I'm not trolling, I'm telling you my opinion. If you disagree, that's great. But do not try and tell me "Oh yeah, if you attended an event you would see that it's mature." Frankly, that's bullshit. The events that I -have- been to, it doesn't change much. Granted, we get the job done, I still think there's room for improvement on everyone's part. Myself included. >.> 'Nuff said.

So I just get highlighted on IRC for this:

[12:21] <+Tweek900> or vephy
[12:21] <+Tweek900> so watch out
[12:21] <%Bam> keanu is gai so it can't be
[12:21] <+Tweek900> hmmm true
[12:21] <+Tweek900> ok so scratch keanu
[12:21] <%WG_Keanu> Wow, thanks for the useful highlights guys
[12:21] <+Pyroclastic0> gais won't have keanu

On the forums, I don't know whether George is Emeritus, EL, RL or Banned thanks to TROLLING TOPICS in IA and Goodbyes...?

Look at the first reply on this topic:
http://www.wildernessguardians.com/forum/i...showtopic=19077

That's an app. That's someone APPLYING for our clan and that's what we say to them? Yeah it's a troll, but is that the message we really want to get across to someone who wants to join?

And on raids? Half the time I go out on a raid I have to THREATEN TO LEAVE in order for people to stop freezing/TBing me. It really does get old, and it's not funny.

Let me quote this,

QUOTE
The average age is like 17 I think. 17 year olds are immature.

Is that it? We admit to being immature and all is fine?

I totally agree with this. Even though i know most of the jokes and stuff people take them way to far. This is the reason i ended up leaving the last time was due to a joke His Lordship and the council desided to pull about us merging with RoT. It was funny at first untill they dragged it out way to long.

I saw the same thing when i looked threw the forums yesterday. A post about George being banned after a post about him getting Raid Leader. Both coming from Council. Both Trolls, Both making every member believe they are true. As a new member you see this and your like wtf is going on. And then on the ban topic you have most people saying "lol what did he do steal lordys cake" This shows 0 respect when a new person like woof reads it.

About the raids. Most of us that have been raiding together quite a bit know whats going on. We know what were doing even without being told. When new people see us joking about stuff they dont understand we all already know what where doing. Like today when Justin said everyone in where going to cwa. And on the way Maths ran ahead on his own. This is normal for us to have a scout already at cwa by the time we get there. But lordy flipped out on maths due to not attending enough raids as of late and having no clue that it was normal. So lordy you might want to think about that... Just saying.

Besides that like lordy said thing about the new people when you post or say stuff. We want the new members to feel welcome and feel like we are a good group of people.

Edit:
Keanu i just saw your post. Not much i can say about the irc chat my roll in it was pretty much saying what i've said here. We dont know whos talking and whos watching. They was talking about Kat and i felt i needed to tell them they should keep to there self. They wasn't saying anything bad but stuff that they shouldn't joke about in my eyes. So i was just proving a point that she could very well have a boyfriend and he could be anyone. He might play rs he might not. And like you see in that convo He could be lordy or you or vephy or zooby or anyone. So watch what you say.

And about the random bsing on raids. That needs to stop. I have already desided and told a few people now I'm telling everyone. If i get attacked by anyone this clan or not i will do my best to kill you. I can understand miss clicks i do it from time to time and i can tell the differance. (taking your wep off and kicking someone doesn't count so before you say something about that grow up lol)

How do I not attend raids exactly? In my defense, I attend the Aussie raid every week, almost without fail. So that statement is incorrect.

I flipped at maths for a reason and if you'd like to know why, you can PM me. I'm not going to drag *that* issue onto the forums.

Dear Eugene,

A ton of the time its best not to rush in all as a clan. Instead, you distract the 3-4 guys with 1 tank, and as they are distracted their response time lacks whenever a clan rushes them, due to them being pre-occupied killing somebody. Their attention is on the screen, not on the minimap, hence why this tactic is so effective. I'd appreciate in the future if you kindly don't call me out on a raid when I'm perfectly capable and knowledgeable about what I'm doing.

Kind regards,

Elyxiatic.

I would like to continue to thank everyone for their feedback and their support of how I feel. As for that raid tonight, I hope all went well. I'd like to specifically like to thank Kec/Keanu for that little excerpt. It just helps prove my point.

</Not Trolling>

At the end of the day this comes down to someone not understanding a joke made by a council member.

I have repeatedly said this before, we can have a council/staff team that is totally uptight and never jokes around and I'm sure there would be no reason for threads like this one, however I myself prefer a group of council members who have a sense of humor and as a result they can be considered friends rather than..... parents or w/e.

All I want to add to this post is I love you guys. I smiled most of the way through it.

JC had a really good point though, would you want us to be totally serious. We would be like school principals. You have detention and a personal lunch in my office. lol Somehow that would not work out.
