What to bring?
ok so this part is gonna be different from what i normaly do, as several styles are effective.

WHATEVER SET YOU TAKE, DONT FORGET SPADE.

mage:
mage gear is seen as the cheapest barrow gear (to start with).
although mage is cheap to start with, the runes are pretty expensive.
if your maging, kill all brothers EXEPT ahrim with it (ignore triangle) kill ahrim with dds specs and range

~take around 300 spells and also take around

if you can use improved gear of the one i posted above, feel free to use it (I pretty much gave the minimum)

meleeing (1)
the blunt fight option.

for this style, use any high accurate weapon.
godswords, chaotic and whip perform really well.
just smash all 6 brothers, its smart to hit ahrim or/and karil's with dds specs.
try to use armour that gives prayer or strenght as you will pray anyway.

gear:

inv:

advantage is that you dont have to buy the whole verac set.
disadvantage is that the damage isn't as explosive as verac would do.

meleeing (2)
verac's

use full verac's to smash all 6 of them.
use dds on karil's and ahrim.

gear:

inv:

advantages are that verac's dealth high accurate hits and it's low cost on the long term.
disadvantage is that it cost a lot to buy.

the one who got the most l00t will get a free 76k=).

attendance:

don't look at the cc attendance, but at who is in the fall in.
i did this because i had a lot of idle'ers hanging around.

add:

garret
keanu
airbender
darth

garret won the 76k with 4m l00t, but he passed it to the second one, kat (1m l00t).

evaluation:
although a lot have attended, it wasn't a succes.
this is because barrows isn't a team thing to do.
also i have to work organisation.

Alright, first of all I'll just post my gear to set thing straight on what i do.

I do Dharok/Guthan/Torag/Verac with Mage, but not that costly sorta mage up there. I will barrage them all ONCE and then use the salamanders Blaze attack. Don't be fooled by it, each shot is around 178 GP, but i hit constant 200's. So much better than wasting Runes on freezes that dont need to be used at 2.5K a Cast. And because i only use 4 casts a chest, even getting 1 killcount gets me a fuckload of runes.

My SGS/DDS is for Karil/Ahrim, i usually only use DDS for the first chest cause i dont need to use SGS spec. If youve got an AGS you could use that. But if you have an excalibur that would be a much better use for spec here.

I use an SGS Spec when i leave tunnels so that i have around 5-8 Prayer points ready for Dharok.

For me it's all about saving money, you might be shocked by the amount of prayer pots i have there, But I have been doing this for a very long time and I only use 1 dose per chest. So its around 60 chests, depending on how many i take.

Right then lets have a look at something else

Can swap the SOL for a Ancient Staff if your not so rich.
I'd also use a Mage's Book or a Unholy Book if you have those (just that i don't)

I wouldn't use a Mystic Hit, just the few odd hits from the other brothers your not praying on can fuck you up. I'd rather use a neitiznot helm as people should have these as raid gear anyway.

Barrows Gloves > ALL

I despise this setup, i really do. You could take Ahrims instead of course if you have that. BUT i hate it when i see people running around like this. IF YOU HAVE BATTLE ROBES USE THEM. People think I'm high when i say that Battle Robes save you 75% of your runes, but its true, and their cheaper than ahrims.

If your lower than 94 mage i would use that because you could use the Mage exp, but at your own cost.

Swap Cape for Fire Cape if you have it.
Swap my Seers ring for a Zerker Ring/Warrior Ring.
Swap those pots for Extreme Attack/Strength or overloads if you really want to.
Sorry it isnt highlighted like the others but use a something else if you dont have a Godsword, for example a Flail/Whip/CLS etc.

Ok now for this setup, I'm not very familiar with it cause I'd never do it. I'm stressing that you only do this if your MAXED with really high herblore. Otherwise youll be sitting there for hours watching yourself hit 0's while the rest of use just cruise on by.

But yeah theres my help, kinda rough cause i did it pretty quick, but you gotta change these pics to suit yourself. It really matters on what you can use.

If youve got any questions i can help further cause I'm sure I've made a few mistakes somewhere.

the gear part on barrows is more aimed to the new ones with barrows then to the veterans as most of them know what to wear.
