Nah let them in. If they are unhappy in TS and they feel like joining WG they should.

In my personal opinion, TS are more than allies... They're our brother clan.
We essentially gain what they lose when this happens, and, although TS are gracious enough to allow it, it may not be the healthiest thing for our relationship.
It is a complicated situation to be in, and I think you made an honorable decision.

On another note: I would support looking further into the exchange program proposition. It could be nice to have some fresh, trustworthy faces around. There is the matter of finding volunteers, of course... but it could be a fun and fruitful project.

It will cost us a lot of respect from the Sabres Josh.
That price is too high. The Sabres mean too much.
It's like dating your friend's ex.

I reckon there should be an exception for the american members. The reason that Angel/Weasly Sabre came running to WG was because that TS is a GMT clan. Nothing could be done about the fact that there were no events that he could make, cause he wasn't willing to sacrifice any of his own time.

P.S I'm Ex-Sabre

Good point.

I would assume there could be room for exceptional cases like this. Though, it wouldn't be under normal circumstances, and preferably with a personal understanding between both our leaders and theirs.

After what Ive been seeing with the Sabres + WG, its unbelievable. The Sabres are just more then an Allies - their more like a bother clan like what Josh said. I mean; ofc Gene has a point about dating your ex - but at the same time; if they feel comfortable here, i say let them in.

Its a point, that some people leave clans for others and that ruins alliances.

You should make a rule that no ex-sabres can join WG until 3 months has passed being completely clanless or something similar, to dissuade people from clan hopping.

If you look at our ML a lot of people have been in the sabres. It's silly to stop them from joining when they clearly want too.

Tbh I'd rather block everyone else from getting accepted than blocking the sabres, they are some of the best people I know apart from WG, why wouldn't we want them if their time at TS is over?

They aren't leaving TS because WG is better, they are leaving TS because they don't fit in their and WG seems like a better place to fit in for those certain members.

<3 the alliance. Strongest in Runescape.

Correction, strongest in Gielinor

I noticed on their forums chili said something about a foreign exchange program, that would sound fun, since we both are successful clans, it might help getting tips

The thing is, if you remove the option of migrating, that makes it more difficult for the potentials to leave TS. That, in itself, is a benefit to TS as a clan. Contrary to what you've said, one of the primary reasons is that they think this clan is someway better... which would subsequently lead them to joining us. If it were any other clan, it would probably be alright, but again, this isn't a normal alliance.

Their members are eligible for access to our forums, TS, IRC, CC, and many of our events. If they really want our company, they can definitely find it. But, frankly, there should be an extent to their participation in our clan business. It's tragic this way, from certain aspects, but it would be more tragic to damage our professional relationship with them -- and inevitably our friendship.

I can still relate to your point... It's just not a simple matter.

I have no problem with TS at all, infact I love them as a clan, they're all amazing people but we should no longer accept their members because if it comes down to it it could ruin our alliance with them AND kill them sub-sequently, I mean look at the size of their ML, they are at a low point.
