Something needs to be done about attendance on a whole

We currently Have 64 members.

yet the last war we had 27 out of 64.

My thinking is that we need to just have a mass inactivty Boot.

But it needs to be done differently from how it is atm
I suggest we have a look at all members currently in wg and look at how many events per month they come to. Or something along those lines. Suggestions are helpful <3

Because less than half of our Active memberlist is just not accseptable in the slightest and im sure many people think the same. Maybe its worth looking at how many events people have been to since graduation to guardian. and if that number is less than the number of weeks since. They need to be removed from the ML as there activity is just not on par with what is required. As i do believe 1 event a week at the most should be bareminimal.

Next suggestion. Is perhaps we need to start looking for Wars with clans that are different from ourself that we can practise on. Theres Always an emphasis on training yourstats higher and on raids and such it gets pointed out. However if you have those stats you need to know what to do with them. Having a tank practise withour selves is all good and well or with the sabres is fine. But in all honesty it doesnt help that much. People need practise in real fights. Now the only way i think we can do that is by mass fights. You Learn from your mistakes! Number one rule i believe in tanking in wars. If you are consitantly being KO'd as soon as your made the pile. You need to stop and look at what you are doing.

Watch other people tank when you die. Dont just leave!! Watch videos. Make sure you have the best equipment available. Dont just use that normal magic staff go and get a talismen staff. (I will GOP with anyone who wants to get one)
But remember Practise makes perfect. We need some real wars to do this. Even if we have to create a losing streak for a while we need to nail Tanking and CWA warring to a T.

If you notice our member list has stayed at a pretty even number of members. As we get new intros, I have also been sweeping inactive members. I think I removed 3 on Friday and I know one today. I try to keep it cleaned up as much as possible. I'll review the Guardians, Higher Guardians and Elite Guardians to see if I have missed anything. We may have a few that need to take emeritus while their lives are a bit to busy for WG. I'll try to pm those people today.

I'll be doing a gear check shortly with a mandatory war practice as part of the requirements. As I look over the gear person by person I will also be checking last 10 posts. I'm not sure if I can check their irc and ts activity but I'll consider looking at that also. I pretty much know who is active on TS as I am on there with Justin all the time.

Your suggestions have good merit and I am appreciative of the time you took to post this. Thank you. I am going to think on the way to do the amount of events to the time from graduation a little better and maybe follow new Guardians for at least 6 weeks to be sure they are well on there way in the clan.

Thank you Garrett and Dallar.
“The day soldiers stop bringing you their problems
is the day you have stopped leading them.
They have either lost confidence that you can help them
or concluded that you do not care.
Either case is a failure of leadership.”

6 weeks should be about right. As you cant really see how someone is going to be in there trial period as everyone is jsut trying to prove themselves as the best Trial.

I actually had noticed we had got rid of some people. +)

And aye mand practises and gear checks are due i think. Thanks for reading and replying +)
