The blur and everything is nice, but it blends too much. Maybe add an emboss or an inner glow set really low and a darker blue that way it makes your name more defined. The upper left hand corner seems to be a little blank, even though the focus is your name. I can see why you left it black, but maybe you could start the blue gradient a littler earlier on the corner to help bring the rest of the picture into your name. That is just my two cents though.  --------------------      |
