We will most likely be selecting two more event leaders to our staff.
In addition to the current tasks of creating events (including allied events), doing recaps, updating attendance, and managing skill of the week, our new team of event leaders will also be working more on getting our events out into the public's eye. This means taking advantage of Tip.it, RSoF, and even RSC to get WG's name out there.
Keep those things in mind when giving your input on who you think would be best suited for event leader.
Please read all the applications fully before giving input.

What do you have to offer as an Event Leader?
I believe that I have to offer all that I can, I can promise that I will make events to fill everyones needs. I will ask around for what members want and give them just that. I'm extremely active on RS, IRC, Forums and TS3 So I'm always up to date with the current situations both in and out of game. Though I've had my ups and downs in WG I can honestly say this time around I'm here to stay.
WG needs imaginative Event Leaders, someone who can think up good events. Are you this person and have you thought of any events already? (If so please name and describe them).
I believe I am and yes i have thought of a few, I'll give a few:
Obviously I'de like to do some skilling events as i understand that Combat events arn't for everyone.
How about some Gathering events
Here's an example.
A 1 hour event consisting of as many members as we can gathering something that is commonly used (eg:Logs, Ore, Fish)
The person to gather the most will get a small prize, such as a 76k, or a month of membership depending on the length.
This will give members a chance to train their skills as well as earning themselves an attendance point and some money or a personal priveledge. I understand that events as this are easily cheated but I would have to go by what people say, Unless it's a rediculous amount.
OR a combat event, I have two in mind
GWD Massacre for the higher level members of the clan, The Objective of this event is to Kill all four of the GWD Bosses in one trip.
The members that attend will be split into two teams, The A-Team will start at Zamorak GWD and the B-Team will stats at Armadyl, The Winner is decided by the first team to destroy all four of the GWD Bosses and make it back to their Starting Area.
Me and MArkenzie Will be following the two teams to ensure noone cheats. I will be assigned to the A team and MArk to the B team, Ofc The teams will be decided fairly, We don't want an overpowered team versus a team of level `100's.
The winner of the competition will all recieve a 76k from myself.
I would post a guide of what to do if this event was to become reality.
Or for the lower Level Members, The same sort of event, but with easier bosses to give them a fair chance.
The bosses will be KQ, KBD And Chaos Elemental.
the first one to kill all three will be the winning team, and they will recieve the same prize as in the GWD Massacre.
Obiously all my ideas need work. And I would work with the other eventleaders to make my events fair on us and on the members attending.
What puts you above other people applying for Event Leader?
Dedication, I believe that I am more dedicated to this than anyone else could possibly be. I also believe i could work with Kevin to completely take over the responsibility of SOTW, After some tutoring I think i could handle it with ease. ;D
(I'm Jobless and am on 24/7, That should help with inactivity.)
Is there anything coming up in the next 6 months that could make you inactive?
Not that i know of, Obviously I Can't guarentee that nothing will come up.
Is there anything else you would like to say?
Thanks for taking the time to read my application.
One problem with leadership is a tendency to start strong, then fade out into inactivity. Will you promise to uphold your duties continously throughout your service to the best of your ability?
Yes, I do.

What do you have to offer as an Event Leader? I have time, creativity and dedication. As somebody who doesn’t leave the house I can offer every minute of my life to WG, this means I can put a lot of time into the events, planning and creating the perfect topic. In my short time in WG I’ve shown to be active in 3 key areas, IRC, Teamspeak and at events; this puts me in the perfect position to fulfil my duty as an overall staff member along with the job of creating imaginative events.
WG needs imaginative Event Leaders, someone who can think up good events. Are you this person and have you thought of any events already? (If so please name and describe them). Event 1 There will be 2 teams each with 1 leader, each leader will pick out each member one by one taking into consideration their skills AND combat. Once the teams are chosen each leader will assign a role to every member, their job is to create armour and supplies for the team completely from scratch. For example: Player 1 mines adamantite ore, this is then handed to player 2 who will smelt it he will then go to player 3 who will make something out of the adamantite bars, the leader is given the job of deciding what is best for his team by prioritising different items. Example: telling player 4 to collect 400 fish and cook them and deciding if the smither should make swords first over adamant legs. Once the time limit is up both teams will head over to a given location and hop to a pvp world, here they will battle it out with the armour/food/weapons that were made during the time limit. For the leader this will be a test of decision making and general leadership, for the members this is a test of teamwork and gives them the opportunity to gain xp in a skill.
Event 2 This will be an endurance boss hunting event, we will head over to Bandos or another boss and do a trip consisting of many hours. For example we will continue a trip for 10 hours, during this members will bank 1 at a time as they run out of supplies. This will be a brilliant event for making money as you could expect to see a few rare items split and it is a way to bring us together as we’ll need to work together to help keep each other there.
What puts you above other people applying for Event Leader? I believe that my dedication puts me over anybody else applying as I can centre my life around the duties of an event leader, this means I can create events that suit almost every time zone as I’m not restricted by a job or anything else. If there’s an event that needs me up at 4am, I’ll be there.
Is there anything coming up in the next 6 months that could make you inactive? Not at all, in fact there’s nothing coming up for at least 1-2 years.
Is there anything else you would like to say? I realise that my lack of time in WG may hinder my application but I’ve been very close to WG being a Sabre for a year now I believe, I was still WG event active whilst in Sabres for example. I also notice my activity in Runescape hasn’t been brilliant over the past few weeks, my reason for this is that now I purely play for clan events, if you believe that my activity in Runescape could affect the position as an event leader then be sure to let me know, I can change .
One problem with leadership is a tendency to start strong, then fade out into inactivity. Will you promise to uphold your duties continously throughout your service to the best of your ability? Yes, certainly.

What do you have to offer as an Event Leader? I offer a wide variety of events for all members wether the event be in F2p or P2p. Events like Bandos boss hunting, Corporeal beast hunting, KBD, Chaos Elemental, F2p revenant hunting etc...I can promise all events will be fun and entertaining.
WG needs imaginative Event Leaders, someone who can think up good events. Are you this person and have you thought of any events already? (If so please name and describe them). Allied 76k/26k wars (WG vs TS go into deep wilderness with either 76k or 26k(Depending p2p or f2p) a staff and a weapon of choice (May be limited to 1 handed weapons) and see which clan comes out on top and richer.
1 Item Fist of Guthix (F2p or P2p) All attendees attend the event with only 1 weapon and see if they can earn Tokens.
Those are only 2 of the events I have planned, I have many more in store.
What puts you above other people applying for Event Leader? I have been a clan leader,a clan Ambassador and a regular member and have witnessed how people in this position handle their events and I firmly believe I am ready to take on this task.
Is there anything coming up in the next 6 months that could make you inactive? Nothing, Nothing what so ever.
Is there anything else you would like to say? I don't really know what to say at all, I mean this seems like a position I would thrive in and continuously make amazing and fun-filled events for all of WG and it's allies to enjoy.
One problem with leadership is a tendency to start strong, then fade out into inactivity. Will you promise to uphold your duties continously throughout your service to the best of your ability? I promise to the fullest extent of my soul to uphold my activity throughout my term.

What do you have to offer as an Event Leader?
I believe that i could safely say that I'm pretty committed to WG as a member. I think that i could take this commitment and use it for a much better purpose to help other members have fun with the clan. Time is something that i also have alot of and am not really worried about. My current time zone is completely perfect for this role in a way that I have only just noticed.
I get up every morning for Allied Raids on a Sunday which are made for the GMT and possibly American Timezones, and i also stay up late at night from about 10-12 (midnight) for the Australian Raid. Now what i have noticed here is that im catering for 3 completely different timezones, which right now is completely no problem to me because I am currently on my school holidays and have finished my exams. I have ALOT of spare Time.
WG needs imaginative Event Leaders, someone who can think up good events. Are you this person and have you thought of any events already? (If so please name and describe them).
I'm not going to lie, I have never ever thought of myself as that kind of person for events. But I would love to have the chance to try. I have thought of a few, but I wouldn't think of them as of a quality standard at this point. But trust me, I will work on this.
I'm mostly thinking of Events that would benefit the most Profit for all members, so that it can tie in with keeping Raid sets up to standard aswell.
What puts you above other people applying for Event Leader?
I don't like to think myself as better than other people but it's pretty much the same as the first question, which is what I have to offer. It is mostly because of my unique timezone. I can literally cater for everyone at this current point. With no school at least. Even with school i can manage to do anything on the weekend.
Is there anything coming up in the next 6 months that could make you inactive?
In about 2 and a half months I believe I'm back at school, but this isn't exactly a tragic inactivity problem. It's easily worked around and i could easily work even harder on the weekends, if not at times after school or on Days off that I have.
Is there anything else you would like to say?
Not really, just hoping that the best person gets the job and fills the void(s)
One problem with leadership is a tendency to start strong, then fade out into inactivity. Will you promise to uphold your duties continously throughout your service to the best of your ability?
Definitely. At any time that i feel that i could be slacking behind because of things piling up, I will be making it fair for everyone else and asking to step down. I don't want my possible spot in staff to be taken by someone that doesn't deserve it. The best candidate is always the most deserving.

What do you have to offer as an Event Leader? Myself. Ive been in WG for a year nearly. And ive loved every minute of it. So time I gave something back to you guys. I can give you the time I spend playing RS as these days all of it is for clans/teams that’s what I enjoy and so doing what I enjoy and hosting event myself I feel is the best thing to do this.
WG needs imaginative Event Leaders, someone who can think up good events. Are you this person and have you thought of any events already? (If so please name and describe them). Event 1 IM rather fun of Hide and seek. But none the stupid ring things. What you have to do is give a clue to your location. It is then the seekers job to find where you are. The more people the better. Giving a riddle to an NPC’s name or what you can see near by could help a lot.
Event 2. We’ve all or most of us done the underground pass. You remember how annoying it was? How long it took to get through it. Now its your chance to race WG through it. We all start off at the entrance to West Ardy. When the IMP says go. You have to get through the underground pass as fast as you can. Bring what items you need. Hope your agility level is able to take you through without falling off the beams. The winner gets a 76k +)
What puts you above other people applying for Event Leader? 1. Experience. As we speak im the event leader for my other clan. Meaning I know what im doing how much effort and thought you have to put behind each event. Also means that Im used to the other side of the events the bad turn outs that do happen that in the beginning anger you but then you get used to it. People complaining that the event was poor as a whole. 2. I can generally work well with most people. Not out for personal gain in what happens with events. If people want to do something all they have to do is send me a pm and ill set about making sure that event is hosted. Personally from experiences events go better if they are suggest by another member rather than you just hosting them. It means there is interest in them all ready and makes them go smoother. So im all ears in setting events You guys come first rather than what I want to do.
Is there anything coming up in the next 6 months that could make you inactive? Got two exams in January but that’s not that bigger deal. Is there anything else you would like to say? Not really Good luck to all. And may the best person be chosen. Any queries PM me and I shall answer them on this post.
One problem with leadership is a tendency to start strong, then fade out into inactivity. Will you promise to uphold your duties continuously throughout your service to the best of your ability? Ofc I know the stress of being put in this kind of position. I wouldn’t apply if I wasn’t going to do my duties to the best of my abilities.

What do you have to offer as an Event Leader?
On a whole, I am a very creative and productive person. I have hobbies such as; video making, drawing, and programming. In my opinion, these hobbies contribute to who i am and the way i go about things. They require 3lots of creativity and ingenuity which are key factors in what makes a successful event leader, and why i am certain i will be a valuable asset to WG's future as a clan. I have a lot of spare time and am very active on Teamspeak and IRC, I am approachable and easy to talk to, I try not to make myself overwhelming to people which puts people at ease when talking to me and gives people more confidence in what they are saying, which then helps me to better understand peoples thoughts and ideas. These are just a few factors in which I strongly believe, make me a more than suitable WG Event Leader.
WG needs imaginative Event Leaders, someone who can think up good events. Are you this person and have you thought of any events already? (If so please name and describe them).
Event Idea #1 This idea is based on the Ultimate Runescape event, and will take place in different locations each time it is hosted. The idea of the event is to split the attendees into 2 teams, both teams only allowed basic gathering equipment such as hatchets and pickaxes (up to rune), hammers, harpoons, nets, and tinderboxes etc. Both teams will have inventorys checked by me in order to verify there is no cheating. Each team will then designate a team leader and each leader will report to me with updates on how their team is doing, any disruptances or queries etc. Teams will then have 30 minutes in which to gather as many supplies as they can in order to war each other.
The team leaders will co-ordinate the teams efforts and will distrubute their teams players to gather the items necessary to fight the enemy team. Once items are gathered, they will need to be checked by the leader of the associated team in order for them to verify to me that the item has been gathered in accordance with rules. I will then bank and keep mark of which team gathered what amount of which items (These will then be returned to be distributed amongst the teams after the 30 minutes). After the time, the team that gathered the LEAST supplies will choose the location of the war, whilst the team with the MOST supplies will choose whether they attack or defend, and where in the designated area they wish to do so.
The winning team will then a 76k each from me and a winning point which after 3 months, the individual player with the most winning points will get a whip trick from me (This will mean teams will be different each week and will be chosen in different ways which would be revealed closer to the time of the event). This is a more strategic event which combines both combat AND skills and would therefore attract a greater audience of clan members, which i hope would get more of the clan more active and enjoying themselves which would then benefit the clan and make it more successful.
Example; Location as set by me is Wildlerness. Both teams will be in a NON PVP WORLD (for gathering due to clans and solo pkers interrupting with event), team leaders will be expected to tell their team what to collect in order to lead their team to victory, mining ores in wilderness such as iron, coal, mithril, adamant can be found throughout various levels of the wilderness but will take longer to get to them and return them to their team leaders. Leaders can themselves collect items but it would be easier if they stuck closer to bounty hunter so i could bank the items faster and it would be quicker to gather items. Fish can be caught from high leveled wilderness near greater demons, or from near the rogues general store west of bounty hunter. Trees can then be cut and burnt to cook food with and passed onto me to be banked and marked down for the relevant team.
After the 30 minutes are up, the losing team can choose a fighting location (multi combat only) such as Al-Kharid palace, black knights castle etc. The winning team will then choose to attack or defend, they may choose to defend the roof of Al-Kharid palace or charge through the gates of the black knights castle. Players can return in no armour to view the fight but interfering with an ongoing fight will then result in consequences to the players respective team.
I have many more ideas but don't really want to give them all away, leave em wanting more!
What puts you above other people applying for Event Leader?
Ever since I joined WG 2 months ago, I loved the feel of the clan, the push everyone gave me and the determination and good times everyone shared, I want to be a part of this and help everyone enjoy their time at WG. I don't see the role as an event leader a job, i see it as the next step into enjoying WG even more than i currently am (if thats possible ). Seeing the opportunity to apply for being an event leader, i was a little hazey at first as if this chance was too good to be true. However, I soon realised this is the next step in my part at helping push WG to what it will be. I believe in being a member, i have talked to lots of other people in the clan, I have heard what events they are in need of and I believe I can be the one to put these events into play. I have had a few talks with Kyle, and with Kevin to see what being an Event Leader involved, what the commitment meant, the time involved in it all, after this I still truly believe I am the one who can fulfill an Event Leaders role with full effect. The position I am applying for, is Event Leader. In my own opinion, the most important part of this will be listening.
To make a successful Event Leader, yes I will have to organise successful events and original ones. However, this won't mean turning a blind eye to the old school ones. Events such as Trouble Brewing and Castle Wars get overlooked constantly as they aren't the most popular but turn out to be the most fun of events when done in moderation. I've been playing runescape since '03 and I believe the years of experience will show in the events I host and the way in which I commit to my role.
Is there anything coming up in the next 6 months that could make you inactive?
Nothing at all, if anything I will be more active then I already am due to uni finishing. My university lessons starting towards the end of January mean I only need to be in for 2 days a week which means I have more than enough time to fulfill my dutys and be IRC/Teamspeak active at all possible times.
Is there anything else you would like to say?
Nothing else to say, apart from good luck to everyone whose applying for the position and I hope the best person is picked to benefit WG with the best intents
One problem with leadership is a tendency to start strong, then fade out into inactivity. Will you promise to uphold your duties continously throughout your service to the best of your ability?
Yes, I wouldn't see it fit to apply for this role unless I was 110% certain could do so.

1 othux: orthux is active, mature and dedictated. his application has a nice lay out and he is flexible with his time. (i have seen him online till very late as his applicatioon says.)
2 armybuilder: i have known army for a while and he has always been close to me. army has experience being Event Leader (in a other clan). and im pretty sure i can work together with him pretty well. my only issue with army is that he can be a bit un-consistant.
3 slayz0rr: luke has been a friend to me for a while and so i know that we would have a great coorperation. luke is active and dedictated. on the other hand, luke has had some trouble in his previous tertiary stage, and some other small issues now that he's back (a fight with keanu which is solved now but it deffinatly marks him.) this made me put him on the third spot.
4 marktonickle: mark on it self would be good event leader, he made a nice looking application and he's been a good member. but with mark there's a thing that bite me, his creatifity (he didn't post an event). mark and i are both monster hunters, and with mark(tonickle) in staff you would get a majority off monster hunts just when we need some variations.
5 danb: although i like dan's app, and my first impressions of him i think that he should be in wg for a bit longer. i don't got height of how he would be as event leader.
6 kungman: i sence the same issue as with marktonickle, he lacks in creatifity (at least on his app/events he host). the events that he hosted (where i was) weren't a quality piece without a real leader.

1. Orthux He is on a good bit and would cover all time zones. This kind of activity is a huge benefit to us. He seems to fit in so well in WG. Right from the very start he came in and got involved. I've never seen him skip things.
2. Danb He is a great guy. He has the ability to console members. I've seen him help out in bad situations. His application looks great and I believe what he had to say. Dan does not seem like he would look down on members for levels or abilities. I think he would cater to all of WG's members.
3. Armybuilder Tom applying surprised me a bit. I think he is very capable of doing Event Leader for WG. My biggest concern is what about the other EL position he holds. I think he would always put WG first but that can get rough when we do Jagex Cup and things. That is only once or twice a year so I will say it's not much of a problem. I've seen such a huge difference in Tom since he got the Higher Guardian rank. He is putting so much more into WG and his old friendly self again. He could of been my first choice, but the other team EL thing is what made me rank him third.
Any two of these three will be excellent. I have concerns with the other 3 applicants. --------------------

Mark is quite an active member, I see him on ALL the time, and he's willing to help out with members, and he's a pretty bright guy, so I'm sure he'd be able to make plenty of events.
Dan is surprisingly mature. When I read his app I was honestly really surprised that he could type it out like that, because when he talks to people on IRC and stuff, he talks like a 13 year old girl.. But I was wrong. The event ideas he came up with are quite impressing. I'm sure he could do really well in the spot.
Those are my two^.
Slayz0rr TOO immature, he's constantly bashing Keanu behind his back and that's not what people want in an Event Leader. Leadership needs to be someone to look up to, and I don't think Luke would be good to look up to.

Orthux This one is hard to say, because he's definitely my #3. He's got a ton of potential, but I just think personally Dan would do better.
Kungman He'd pull a George. He's rarely on, I haven't seen him at an event in AGES.
Armybuilder He already focuses more time on TSA than WG. Need I say more? --------------------

I was just saying Mark instead of Orthux because Kevin said that would be 2 GMT leaders. Together though, they could cover multiple time zones. Dan is up later than me sometimes, and he's GMT.
All in favor of Dan and Orthux? --------------------

I agree that they could cover the timezones fine even if they were all GMT.
Also, like Rachel said, her and I can still make events, and I plan on making an event every other week or so.
I think it should either be just Orthux and Dan or Orthux and Mark.
I would put Orthux over Dan for the reason that he is much more familiar with clan life, being in the Sabres a long time. This is the first clan Dan has been a part of. I think they are both plenty active and have the right attitude for the position, I just think Orthux has more experience.
However, both Orthux and Dan are extremely forum inactive, not a good quality for a staff member to have. That's the reason why I would replace Dan with Mark, if we choose that pair.
So, IMO... Orthux and Dan or Orthux and Mark --------------------
