I SHOULD have come. I SHOULD have planned. Instead i chose to get drunk and pass out. I take a huge chunk of responsibility for this. It was a show of disrespect to the members that worked so hard. I WILL make it up to you by organising a war TODAY. A big war, which will be part of the Aussie IRL meeting agenda. I can only speak for myself and Justin, neither of which had the right excuse to miss it. All I can say is that this is the worst I've felt in a long time. I've let you all down, and I'll use this negative feeling to better myself. As for the other leaders, I take responsibility for not enforcing stricter activity codes. I led by poor example. If I don't show, why should they? Everything I do filters down, and so I make the pledge here and now: I will elevate my personal standards of activity. I will ensure that I lead by action and not by word. I will not let you down like this again. --------------------  | ||

It's easy to overlook the fact that every single major fight is planned between 3am and 7am in my timezone. Just because you were drinking the night before isn't a reason to be attacked its STILL 4am for you so if you don't wakeup for the fight ok thats fine the clan shouldn't be dependent on 1 person when there was more than just lordy that signed yes but didn't show so has anyone made any progress on talking to them also? As stated by many members IRL > RS if he is sleeping IRL ok fine maybe instead of getting mad because an aussie member in an est timezone cannot make the war we should be focusing on why we lost outnumbered. The fight clearly should of been ours but we strayed from the strategy we said to use which was the exact one they did use. If he signed yes then left last minute to go to a party that is another story but truthfully if you think my point is not valid PLEASE explain why it isn't. Let me add in he was at the aussie raid so it isn't like he blew anyone off at all. He is the leader of a now 7 year strong clan. He has certain levels of leadership that he needs to uphold as a primary leaders, as does council. Given that he chose to get drunk over webcam the night before a war shouldnt have happened, and he knows that. Had it been a party or something, then im sure it would be a different story. I know I myself have missed a few wars due to parties that were really fun, or parties were I had to look after someone, and couldnt get home. But I also made it to wars I said no to (even if it meant walking 2 hours at 4am to get home, or waking up after 2 hours sleep at Zooby's) tl;dr getting drunk by yourself isnt okay, especially after signing up as yes. getting drunk at a party is a different story. --------------------  This is ten percent luck, twenty percent skill Fifteen percent concentrated power of will Five percent pleasure, fifty percent pain And a hundred percent reason to remember the name! 7th Highest Overall for Wars Attended. | ||
