 Hello =) just checking in with a question, how much has changed the past 2/3 years? =P
I saw the new update and am considering coming back with a few friends if it all goes through, but thought I had better ask the expert advice of WG, how much has changed in the world of pvp/pking?
Are the days where a guy with ahrims, whip and dds fury etc was pretty well equipped so far gone that I may need to spend a few days catching up?
ALSO, how are you all? Its been a fair old while, and I barely recognise any names any more =) Hope all is well

 PKing has completely changed. These days it's about how big your bank is, and how many Dungeoneering (new skill) tokens you have. With overpowered wepons like Dragon Claws/Armadyl Godsword/Blessed Spirit Shields/Chaotic Items/PvP Armor & Items/Bandos/Korasi's/etc. You'd be lucky to see somebody in a whip/DDS these days.

Also... too many idiots wearing ring of life.

 To be fair i never see someone pking in a blessed spirit shield.

and the guys running around in Bandos are the ones with the claws who hug the ditch and *attempt* to rush you. It's shocking the amount of people that actually fall to them. It's all about quick prayer.

All that crazy shit is in the +1 worlds, sometimes theres a hero using that in normal BH/PVP but not very often. So if i were you, id just stay the hell outta +1.

 hey blobber. you seem enthusiastic.

this year it seems jagex is pulling alot of people back in. expect to see alot of hype and strong competition.

i'm not sure about pking since i'm retired. but i do recall back when the prices where inflated (and easier for people to make gp). there was alot of spending on pking foods and weapons than armour. we can easily say that the same may be true if trade limits are removed since gp will be easily accessible and quickly consumed (rather than hogged).

Was just wondering how much will change, like will there will be a complete herd of 13 year olds with 100m worth of stuff standing outside edge and shiz that don't quite understand how dangerous some lures can be?

 I seriously reccomend to stop by youtube. it will give you a first hand account on pking from rushing and such.

to my understanding. if you do not have curses to aid you. you're in trouble if you're fighting legit.
