 IRC Nickname: DG_Keanu Group: Council Posts: 4782 Member No.: 2033 Joined: August 25, 2009 Total Events Attended: 173 | God I gotta work on our guide, sorry  Basically, IRC is like the RS clan chat, but a separate program. To get onto it, you need a program like SwiftKit or mIRC (downloadable), but you can get on without downloading anything. Go to the "Links" tab at the top of the forums, and click on the "WG Chat Room" link (The one in red). A window will open up, and the Java client will load. If it asks if you want to allow/run it, click yes. #WG_Lobby is our channel - the different channels are like different player's clan chats. To join a channel, type "/join #channelname" without quotes, and you'll join it. You can be in multiple channels at once. However you should automatically join #WG_Lobby with our client. You will join with the name "WG_Anonymous". To change your name, just type "/nick Whateveryournameis" without quotes, and it'll change. Then you can just talk normally  You will have to register and stuff, I'm working on a video guide for it at the moment, will get back to you on it but that will get you through the basics. Tl;dr: - Open the IRC client - You'll auto-join #WG_Lobby - Type "/nick yourname" to change your name - You successfully got onto the IRC  --------------------  [05:42] <+WG_Keanu> I think I got a semi just looking at the pic [05:42] <%kat> same |
