This job should not be taken lightly. We are a pvp clan and need strong leaders in the wild. Be ready to host several pvp events each week. You have to be able to do the normal staff moderator, good informative recaps, give attendance on a timely manor, talk clearly on TS3, Ability to help members catch up to the raid, know the wilderness layout well and be aware always of other clans. You are not above anyone but to treat all members as equals with respect at all times. You are representing "The Wilderness Guardians" at all times. You are also expected to be able to give clear solid calls over TS3 with confidence and without delay. IRC is definitely required as it is for all members in the clan. Five years of experience in PvP. From the old wilderness to BH and CWA to PvP and the soon-to-be old wilderness again. I led some small clans back in 2005, did some leadership for the clan Red Blade Hunters in 2006, led my own clan Moratorium in the wild countless times and into battle in 2007, and gained High Council of RBH in 2008, also involving in PvP duties from time to time. In the old days, I wrote a complete guide to PvP which has been used by four clans - my own, RBH, Avenged and the United Freedom Fighters. Over the years I have gained the skills to lead groups of varying sizes in PvP, and I know the wilderness by the book - hugging, tanking, dragging, luring, spamming, piling, transitions, fall-ins, calling, sniping, hybrids... you name it. I am experienced in all aspects: F2P and P2P, deep and shallow, etc. So far in WG I've hosted several raids including one Megaraid and on a few others taken over calling and leading a few times when neccesary. Apart from my in-game leadership, I can also offer my intentions and solutions for our PvP direction. I can work as a team with other staff and members alike, am open to discussion and suggestions from all sides of the field, and can work towards meeting the goals that we as a group can set for ourselves. What current issues in WG can you help with as Raid Leader? The main issue we have is the mentality on raids, which would be my first address. As a group we are limited to the shallow wild, focusing on solo PKers and small teams, and avoiding groups we do not have a clear advantage over. The priority should be to change the concept of a raid from a mandatory event to attempt kills and avoid fights, to a successful event with action and fights we stand a chance with - to the point where the majority of our members really want to attend rather than are forced to. In doing so, we would need to brush up on aspects such as our spamming, returning, and of course individual skill. I would address the problems and take the appropriate action. Extension on practices to incorporate such aspects that need improvement, a re-work of our Guides forum, and anything else which would help towards our growth in terms of skills and strengths. Wars, I would start moving out of CWA and into PvP again, but equally. I would also keep a balance between F2P and P2P - whichever we are stronger at I would focus on, and the weaker I would work on how to improve our weaknesses in that area. As said, I would also be completley open to suggestions, ideas, criticizm and all else from every member of the clan, and would do my absolute best to cater for the entire clan's needs and desires in terms of our PvP. I am a confident and experienced caller, I am active, and I attend all events possible. I return to the end no matter how times I die. I will enforce the rules of WG to my best abilities, and obey by them myself. I have many creative ideas for wars and raids (which I have shared with Kyle and Rachel I believe) and am flexible in many timezones. What current issues in WG can you help with as Raid Leader? Currently, WG has an issue in PvP. We aren’t much of a harm to anybody. I can help make WG a dominant force in both F2P and P2P, and bring new ideas to the leadership team to help the clan pursue its dream. There is also the issue of people skipping raids and wars to do their own thing, which is a big pet peeve to me. I have an advanced Php script that tracks exp of everybody in the clan, which I am willing to share to help keep track of things. Is there anything coming up in the next 6 months that could make you inactive? No. Is there anything else you would like to say? When I was in RSD, I attended over 200 P2P PK trips (raids) and wars, and lead about 20 P2P PK trips. I have a lot of experience, and during my time in RSD I learned a lot of tactics in PvP, which I am willing to share for the good of the clan. I started leading fall-ins in 2009 with my clan Envy, and have been improving daily since. I am currently a caller for my advanced CWA team, Silent Ember, so I have a big knowledge of clans to challenge in F2P. As well, I am very mature and take criticism well. I work good both individually and with a team. What do you have to offer as a Raid Leader? - Activity. Having just finished University, I have 4 months away from studies, which means all day, every day I am free to give to the clan. I may occasionally have to work, but the hours I work, is when you Americans and English are sleeping anyway so it does not affect the clan. - Experience. I have had a role on staff before, so I understand that WG comes before my own account, and I understand how to do all the basic staff tasks such as updated attendance, working on forums etc. - Dedication. With over 3 years in WG, I have been around to know how things work and I have been there through the major changes in the clan so I know what has to be done for the better and what can cause things for the worse. - Personality. I said this to the principal when I applied for school captain and he said he was a great line, so I will say it again. I see myself as a "Person of the People", someone who has little things to connect him with every type of social group, whether it be sport, games or music, which makes me a person easily approachable which many common things to talk about. This will help with people feeling free to talk to me, and also listening to me when I would need to lead. What current issues in WG can you help with as Raid Leader? For quite a long time now, I have sat back, criticizing, commenting, watching, judging all the moves made by staff. Only once before I have been in staff. This was always a goal of mine, but not a personal goal, a goal to give back to the clan that has given me so much. – Direction. Right now we are torn between focusing on F2P or P2P. We war F2P and PK on P2P. This will be my first aim as Raid Leader, to clear this up and get it organised. – Activity. This is a concerning issue and has been over the past year and a half. We struggle to pull a good portion of our memberlist to wars and raids. I will work on getting everyone pumped for wars and raids without the need of Eugene to do a massive prep. My aim will be to continually pull 75% of our memberlist (Emeritus will count for the 75%, even though they are not on the memberlist). – PK Run Ins. At the moment, we are getting scared and teleporting/running/logging from any clan we run into. This is a disgrace. If we want to set a good name for WG, we will have to start by standing up to any challenge, and earning respect from higher clans for putting our sets on the line. – Sets For some reason, many members still don’t have sets. So when we aren’t pking, I plan on hosting some constant god wars trips to help make some money for everyone. If all of these issues can be solved, we will be a clan pulling 40+ constantly to wars of our choice, thus giving us no reason to not be a top 10 clan and a serious threat to others. Is there anything coming up in the next 6 months that could make you inactive? If elected, I will be RAID LEADER for a lot longer than 6 months. As for inactivity, I just have my usual sport (Football/Basketball, all while GMT/EST sleep) and then University in 2 months time which will take up 10-15 hours a week (Doesn’t affect events) but only for 12 weeks. Is there anything else you would like to say? What can I offer. Im more war focused these days ill admit. I currently war 1-2 times a week on f2p and have been doing for oh 6 months now. As a raid leader I can give my best in helping others prepare to wars in such helping people have the best gear possible as well as they know what they’re doing. Its all well and good being able to call (which I will say im not that good at it. But ive been trying more and more when I’ve been raiding with the ewoks <3) but unless everyone is guided into what they have to do and not thrown in at the deep end. So from that I offer those skills. On the Leading side of things. Most of you may know I run the events from my other clan. And before that I was leader of a f2p pking clan. So I am used to on the spot making decisions that I personally believe are the right ones. And not standing there panicking about what to do. On the P2P side of things. I will say I know the wilderness very well. Often I go out and duo with friends and some WG members. So I know what im doing on pvp I know when to be realistic and when to go. There big but look at them. There not organised we can wipe the floor with them. Finally and this could be good and bad. I offer myself as a student. Ill hold my hands up now. Saying that there are others out there that have done this before and its proably easier just to go. You’ve got experience you do it. Job done. But I personally feel that someone who is shown the ropes not just picked it up as they watch. That those who are shown in the end will be better. What current issues in WG can you help with as Raid Leader? Current issues I can help with in WG as a raid leader is give you another Time Zone. We have an Aussie Raid leader stepping down and other than that we have American raid leader. With the addition with me I can give the GMT’ers there chance to go out during there time zone and not have to wait till the Americans get home +P Personally I think our issue is people don’t have the confidence to war. I remember my first time warring. Got piled first or second. Panicked and got dropped straight away. Those who saw we’re lrn2tank, Go Train. The usual stuff. Im a friendly guy I get on with the low levels as I tend to think of myself as one of them although im probably more mid level. Its these guys that are going to be the war winners for us. I think im able to give these guys and new members the encouragement of saying. Ye guys keep training but that doesn’t mean you cant do nothing. Ye you don’t have 85 mage. You can blitz though. You can range. And spear. Your still a valuable member of the Clan and of our warring force. On the f2p side. Anyone can tank. Yes your a lot lower than most of us. But that means nothing. You can drag eat your god damn food and get them out of there run. And try to beat them piling us. Anyone can drag a clan. No matter your combat level (within realism ofc a level 70 is not going to tank a team of 120s) Returning. After confidence this is wg’s biggest let down. I don’t know what it is but it takes people 30mins to get back to a fight. When it should be. Dead. Run to edge bank. Click click click. Fill familiar. Click. Teleport/canoe/run like the wind bulls eye. People just don’t know how to return. We need to teach this to people. They need to learn. Sets wise. I think guys we concentrate too much on high levelled sets. Its all well and good bringing mystic 9-10 times cos you have the sets. But that’s not necessarily helping. The other clan can’t complain if you’re still risking 76k and they get a drop. You can easily make a hybriding set with ancients + range/melee for well under 300k a set. If people can return in those sets. Then it means we have the means to freeze people and deal damage for less at a cost and people can return. Rather than having to die 10 times with a 800k set. Ye I think we need to have those 800k sets. But hell use them constantly no. I’d say you use them once then you return in your low cost gear to make sure the fights going. Is there anything coming up in the next 6 months that could make you inactive? In all honesty after this month until my exams in June there is nothing. Is there anything else you would like to say? In my honest opinion out of everyone id probably have the most to learn and in that sense probably the worse candidate but I am willing to learn to help wg as possible some fresh blood being insert into the raid leader ranks would do the clan a lot of good rather than relying on veterans. --------------------     | ||||||

All I can really offer here is dedication, I can give everything and Do everything within my power and jurisdiction to put WG back into it's prime. Though we've become more war active, We are not as pvp active as I would like to see. I can change that. What current issues in WG can you help with as Raid Leader? I think we have three main problems which need to be assessed; Sets It has come to my attention that alot of our members are not willing to get more than the required sets. We will be unable to progress in the clan world until people become more willing to restock on sets and not be upset when they are lost. You will get kills, You will get your money back + more. With people not having 10 sets it is holding us back from doing PVP events such as PKRI's. I plan on speaking to the event leaders and getting them to organise alot more events, Such as CS boss hunts and General money making events. If i was to get Raid Leader I would like to possibly take over the monthly gear check, I would like to put a definite date on when the gear check will be carried out and i would like to make is a required thing, I would like to give punishments to those who don't have the sets. But of course, Depending on a persons personal situation. Delays can be given out on specific gear checks. Balance The next issue I'd like to raise is the balance we have between wars and 'freedom' As I've noticed the amount of wars we have seems to be completely random, For instance we could have 3 wars one week and then none the next. I think it would be beneficial to the clan if we had a set amount of wars a week along with a set amount of raids. This will help members get into an active rotation of when we'd be warring and when we'd be raiding. Overall getting people to attend more raids/wars. Activity We've had a lot of problems with activity among members, This is reflecting on not only our singular members, but on the clan as a whole. I think if we start making more raids at better times we would be able to get alot more of our members attending. I think with me as a GMT raid leader, I would be able to organise those raids. With the old wilderness coming back we need to enforce the ARPK rules we used to follow. We need to come down hard on members who are refusing to follow these rules, And I myself, Will follow these rules 100% within the lines Is there anything coming up in the next 6 months that could make you inactive? Not that i can see from now, And unlike last time I am about to start a steady job working monday - friday 6am - 4pm GMT - Which means i will be able to Attend EVERY raid and i will have plenty of time to do forum work and make raids. Is there anything else you would like to say? I know what happened last time i applied for RL and got it. What happened then i knew could happen but hoped it would not.
