 ANNIVERSARY DAY SIX

Date: Thursday, January 27th, 2011
Time: 7pm GMT, 2pm EST, 6am East Australia (Friday)
Timezones Privileged: Europe

Description of Day: This day brings back some events we've not done in a long time. The annual dance party makes a welcome return, and the old Brimhaven agility races return as well. It's easy to forget how fun these were back in the day. They were big WG events in 2005 but now they have been forgotten, and specially resurrected for the anniversary. Same goes for Trouble Brewing, one of the underrated minigames in Runescape. We're going to give it a go and see how well it works. We might have time for a trawler afterward as well.


Each event will continue as soon as the previous one is finished

DANCE PARTY

Items Required: The anniversary costume
Duration: Approximately 20 minutes
Description: We'll be coordinating emotes over Teamspeak, and trying to synchronise them in-game. The effect is very impressive and the bigger the numbers, the more awesome it looks. This event usually constitutes a large portion of our recruitment. Highly enjoyable.

BRIMHAVEN AGILITY RACES

Items Required: Entry coins, food or healing method.
Duration: Approximately 45 minutes
Description: Wear anything that will enhance your run. We'll be racing for tickets in Brimhaven agility arena.

TROUBLE BREWING

Items Required: Run enhancing clothing, a good hatchet, a monkeyspeak amulet.
Duration: Approximately 30 minutes
Description: We've not had this event in a while and certainly never hyped it up like this. It's one of the less played minigames and we thought we'd take this opportunity during the anniversary to see if we can make it work, and to see if we like it.
