What is expected of you

Because we cannot have six raid leaders, not all of you will be promoted to full raid leader.
It is highly unlikely that more than 2 of you will be promoted.
During your trial period, it is your job to show us that you are the best choice for raid leader.
As stated in the Trial RL Applications IA, even if you are not chosen as a RL at the end of your trial, you will still be allowed to be a back-up caller at all PvP events (provided you were a good caller) and you will keep your TeamSpeak rank.

Your trial period will last 3 weeks, and will officially end on March 2nd. Make the most of it.

Expectations:
You will be graded collectively by staff, not just on your calling abilities, but by your attitude, your effort, your activity, and how you carry yourself.

During your three weeks, you will be expected to to the following:

Set up at least one war and be the primary caller of that war.
Post at least one raid (at least 24h ahead of time), and be the primarily caller of that raid.
Be the primary caller of at least one weekly raid (does not have to be for full duration of raid).

You are of course allowed, and encouraged, to do more than the minimum.
However, please be courteous the the other trials and allow them time to schedule their raids and wars.
Also, it is likely that two raid leaders will have to share calling time during the Allied Raid.
Any fights you set up with another clan must be approved by either Kyle or Jayson.
You may not set up a second one until all the trials have set up one.

Other things you will be expected to do:

Post quality recaps of any raid/war you set up, or any weekly raid you are the primary caller of.
Be active. If you can't be active in IRC, TeamSpeak, forums, and RuneScape, you shouldn't expect to be selected as a raid leader.
Keep open communication with your fellow raid leaders. Even though you are competing against each other, you need to show that you are capable of working together. Utilize this forum and tell other raid leaders when you plan on hosting a raid or war, so that they don't schedule over you, and so they can attend your event as well.
Don't abuse your IRC or TeamSpeak rank. This should be obvious.
Always put in the extra effort. You'll get out of this 3 week trial what you put into it.

As of today we are clarifying what is exactly expected of the Raid Leader rank.

For those of you in the role at present this is your final warning, now there are no excuses for failure to fulfill your rank as expected from the clan as it will be laid out clearly for you.

This is also for reference for future raid leaders as a set of guidelines.

What is expected:

- For us to function effectively as a PVP clan it is ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL that lines of communication remain open between all PVP staff, this means communication with everybody rather than sticking to people you are comfortable with.

- This means planning amongst one another the organization of our permanent raids.
* Deciding who will be hosting the raid
* Informing one another of availability

- Each Raid Leader is expected to host one or two PVP events a month outside of dealing with major war declarations or permanent raids, these can be planned events or spontaneous events like spontaneous raids or minor spontaneous fights such as matched opts.

- If you host an event you must complete a recap and take attendance yourself
* This recap must be of a high standard there is no excuses, there is plenty that should be discussed, including a general overview of what happened during the event, the positives that came out of the event for example what we did well, areas that need improvement this includes explanation on what is being done wrong and how this can be fixed.

- If there is an event that has sign ups it is important that you check up on them daily and update them to the latest sign up.
* Checking on those that haven't signed up and if you see them in IRC/TS/IRS push them to sign up, if they refuse or are rude about it give them a warn level, it is expected that members sign up correctly for mandatory sign up events so if this is not done they are to be left as non sign ups.

- You may arrange major fights, however it is essential that you speak to Gene or myself before accepting the rules of the fight.

- If you have a reason that you are unable to fulfill any of your duties then you must let us know. If this is the case it does not give you an excuse to perform no duties at all, spend more time doing forum work, or promotion of events. If you are unable to perform all of your duties for an extended period of time then you should consider whether it would be appropriate to step down, as you should understand it is essential that our PVP staff be active as possible.

If you feel that you are unable to fulfill the expectations we are placing upon you, now is your opportunity to step down, you will not be judged for this as it can be a difficult and time consuming role
