Ruby special deals 20% of opponents health as damage, which is around 200 lifepoints at maximum, and also deals damage to the user. That combo is only good for monster hunting. They require only 40 defense, and cost 76k GE. They're -7 slash and -1 range def, but have no negative mage attack bonuses and ave a +1 prayer bonus and have a positive mage defense bonus. This would open up space for more food or possibly another brew or something of the sort. Also, barrows gloves are only 35 defense so we can use those instead of rune. --------------------   | ||||

How? Level cap is 45 def.  link because picture is so small: http://img690.imageshack.us/img690/4130/20110325134108.png Spirit shield requires 40 defense and 55 prayer, but that isn't the cap. As for barrows gloves http://www.zybez.net/items/3334/gloves/ There isn't something in game that shows, but I imagine zybez is right. -------------------- | ||||
