     IRC Nickname: markenzie1 Group: Emeritus Posts: 790 Member No.: 2004 Joined: August 9, 2009 Total Events Attended: 180    | hello all, since i don't have much spare time i started to play minecraft again. i play it because i can fill in when i play (im not bound to play it, unlike rs where i often get sucked up by.) now i have started to build a castle, covering a 101 by 101 size. note that i have made this without mods, meaning i had to dig up all the stone myself. the first stage was to build the outer wall, this took a very very long time and i'm happy that i completed it.  the next part was adding the small towers and filling up the enourmous gap between the walls, i have no picture of that. stage 3: now that the enourmous dirt flour has been laid, i have made the second layer upon the castle, the castle now looks like this:  stage 4: the third floor was very easy to make, so i combined this step with making layer four (the last layer), now the castle looks like this;  stage 5: i have lighten up the whole castle to prevent mobs from spawning in the castle, the effect is astounding. also i have decorated the castle. (recent) outer looks:  castle inner wall (layer 1):  castle (standing on layer 1):  castle (seen from highest tower):  throne room:  feel free to comment, if you still have idea's feel free to post those aswell:) --------------------   | ||

i used diamond picks to dig up the stone, if you do it on the right layer, you get your diamonds back and often a bit more. the throne room floor has been made from dyed wool, yes but the seat is from gold blocks. -------------------- | ||
