So i just went through the Intro's forum
and read my intro.
Although ive only been in this clan for 2 months or so, ive changed a lot... on rs at least hash.png

Post what you felt when you re-read your introduction... if it's still there
and post what you feel like your greatest moment in this clan is.
smile.gif for older members smile.gif

After reading my intro, i realised that i have become more brave when it comes to pvp. i used to be afraid of the wilderness, but now.... hehehe

my greatest moment was prolly when i tanked my invy last week... i got k0'd before i swapped gear/put pray on in my first war LOL
happy posting smile.gif

When i read my intro i wonder why i wrote P.S. i just left my old clan 1 hour ago due to it's inactivity after 3 years.
The Clan has changed how i play RS in general and what i do on it. And made it more enjoyable, which can be a bad thing. Especially now its exam time. ohmy.gif

My best moment, in PVP must be that time when about 20 of us, rushed CA thinking Welf were there, and then Welf rushed in and we caught about 40 of them in barrage piles and kept them at bay for ages, then we tele'd as we started to weaken.

In WG in general, i'd say the feeling when Armybuilder took me under his wing a week after i joined. Little did he know that i was gonna be the most annoying guy on the planet and he;d regret doing that.

biglaugh.gif cool.gif
Or just the chuckles on Teamspeak and IRC and the funny quotes tongue.gif

My first ever intro I had no idea how to post on a forum.

I actually did a poll by mistake instead of a new topic, and I had no idea what a poll was either. I was very young at the time tongue.gif

Below is the intro

My first intro was posted in 07 so I used my second..

I was 63 combat and 322 overall.. Things have happened biggrin.gif. Overall a better fighter, kickass event leader, made alot of friends.

My biggest achievement is a bit odd though. Even though I've been here for 4 years almost, my first time ever speaking on audio was last week at my clan cloak event. That is my biggest achievement.

Oh I love topics like this!!!

Ok, for my intro I had to go all the way back to the Z6 Forums.

I am going to quote my full introduction here, as every time I bring it up, WG members have a right old giggle, but anyway here it is:

QUOTE
Hello WG, my name is George and I am 14 years old (15 on August 25th) and I live in London in the United Kingdom. My RS name is Gorgemaster and I have been playing RS since some irl friends told me about it aproximately two years ago. I started to play and found it so good that I soon got P2P and now I am 104.85 combat, soon to be 105 biggrin.gif

In real life I love acting and I am very involved in Drama at my school, in fact I have just taken a GCSE (an important exam we do here in England) in it. I try to audition for every school play that I am allowed in and currently I am in my school's production of "Wind in the Willows", we in fact are performing next week, for 4 nights, so wish me luck biggrin.gif. I also hope to audition for the next play in a few weeks called "The Front Page", some of you may have heard of it  smile.gif
I enjoy doing community service and I do this inside and outside of school, I visit elderly people's home once a week and I like helping children with disabilities, I think there is really no greater feeling in our world than helping a child in need, your thoughts? smile.gif
I also like several sports, for instance hockey and tennis, although sadly I am not very good biggrin.gif, maybe I can get better during the summer holidays.

In Runescape I tend to have stages where I want to do one thing, then another stage where I want to do something completely different, I find it hard to get anything done sometimes  laugh.gif . Some activities I do enjoy are KQ hunting, castle wars, barbarian assault, trouble brewing, the odd bit of barrows and course pking and trawlering. I also like hunting (the skill) for some strange reason biggrin.gif

There is one ambition that I have wanted and kept throughout my life to this day and that is to be an actor when I grow up. I know acting is a very hard profession and only a small fraction of "actors" actually make it through to film and stage, so in a way I hope I change my mind before its too late biggrin.gif. Another ambition that I have if I decide not to become an actor is to become a teacher for children around the age of 4-11. As you read above I love working and helping children and so maybe this is a good choice of career for when i'm older biggrin.gif

I first heard about WG from a very good friend who gave me the link to your main page and told me to look at it. I went there and when it had loaded, I remember being shocked and astounded at the incredible website that I saw before me. It was well made and it had awesome music, in particular I liked "Celtique Medieval", so a big well done to whoever made the website, was it His Lordship? Sorry if its not, whoever made it did a really great job.
Aside from the main website, I really like the great sense of community spirit here in WG. Every post, topic and clan member I have seen/talked to has been really nice and helpful and always willing to answer a question for a future clan mate, so thank you  smile.gif

My history with clans has been long and hard. My first proper clan that I was in was called "Mayhem" and it was led by three very nice people, one of which was Anthony69, who I believe is a member of WG. I had some of the greatest times in RS in this clan, and I am still friends with a great number of Mayhem's ex-members. Sadly, all good times have to come to an end sooner or later and Mayhem's time ended with the leaders breaking up the clan because of lack of support I believe.
BP- "Betrayed Phoenix" was a clan that I created around a year and a half ago and I always intended BP to remain small and I made a lot of very good friends, who I still keep in contact with today. This clan merged with "The Unprovoked" which you can read about below so when TU broke up, so did BP biggrin.gif
Then a few months later I joined a small clan called "The Unprovoked", which contained a few ex-mayhem members and this clan was a real community and like a family to me, we all helped each other out and had some fun times. I was a leader of TU for a month before we decided to break it up, because at that time all of the leaders, myself included had real life commitments.
The next clan I joined was called "The Riddermark", which was made only a few months ago by a good friend of mine, sadly many arguments pursued and the ex-leader tried to crash it before we broke up the clan that never had the chance to survive.
So as you can see I have never really been in a big, proper clan and this is why you find me here posting my introduction and hoping to become a new member of WG in the future.

I like to think that I'm a kind, caring guy and I really believe that I can add stuff to your already awesome community. If anyone ever has a problem or needs advice, If i can I will be there in a flash and I really hope I can get to know all of you guys and become part of your clan.

If any of you want to see what I look like, then here is a picture of me, with my ex-girlfriend Lauren sad.gif  and her friend (on the right). I am the guy on the left.

Here is another picture of me, in a recent play I was in for my GCSE Drama Exam, it was a play called Volpone by Ben Jonson. I was playing Corbaccio ( crow in Italian)- a really old man.

Also here is a small, but I think quite good, 3D sphere that I made in MS paint a little while, ago, I would love to hear your opinions:

So that's it really, sorry if this is really long, I hope you all had the time to read it.
Please add me in game I want to get to know all of you as soon as I can.

Thanks for reading

~George  smile.gif  smile.gif

Some reflections.
I love the way I was proud of having 105 combat (lol)....
LOL, i love my naiveté when I hope I will be bothered to get better at sports during the holidays, oh dear biggrin.gif

Back when I wrote my intro I loved doing KQ and I did it a lot with a close friend of mine, just an interesting fact, not sure what else to say about that neko2.gif I say i like Castle Wars and BA, i now despise them both...

My 'ambition' to be an actor, I am just laughing so hard right now... oh goddd how naive I was, how full of hope and vitality I was. I was only 14 i guess...

And the pictures.... Well they're just hillarious for obvious reasons biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

March 8th 2009... over 2 years old. Wow.

Ok so first the clan stats:

QUOTE
Since rougly 2005 Kecooler has been my main until recently this year. There's nothing too special about him, his skills are pretty poor but I find for a 93 with 71 defence he's a good tank. He's a group PKer (Sucks solo), a deep-wilderness PvPer, and nothing in Clan Wars or Bounty Hunter. He's VERY poor, with less than 10k cash more often than not but he always has at least 2 rune, 2 mage and 2 range sets and at least 10 inventories of food on standby, and isn't afraid to lose them in the name of his clan.

Since then:
- Started a new account, 113/120 combat
- Got 90 def on the new one but gotten WORSE at tanking what the hell
- Now both a group AND solo PKer
- Still hate CWA
- Much richer, around 50 return sets and I make around 2m a night

About myself:

QUOTE
Well I'm Keanu, and roughly 16 days ago I hit my 16th birthday cool.gif In real life I live in Lancashire of England. I consider myself half-half English and American, as I was born in the Caribbean, spent 7 years in the US and the past 4 years here in England. I like climbing... trees, rocks, you name it. Music is pretty much my life, as I'm bassist in a Hard Rock band (Even though I prefer electric guitar) and I plan on doing such for the rest of my life tongue.gif In terms of style, Classic Rock all the way - in my opinion, Led Zeppelin is the greatest band ever to have existed.

Since then:
- Had my 18th not too long ago
- Trying to give up the damn bass guitar and take up electric
- Zep still my favourite band
- Gave up IT, started a music course in college, doing much better

Found out about WG:

QUOTE
My clan right now I formed as 100% honour and Anti-RPKing, and on probably every page of our website you'll see the name "Wilderness Guardians" mentioned somewhere (No lie).

LOL how history repeats itself hash.png

QUOTE
WG is the last clan I look up to in the clan world. I've just heard so much about WG and learned a lot about the clan over the years. I've seen and heard things like His Lordship's TS rant and the screenshots of the WG adult forum topics that the rest of the clan world laughs about. But to me, it makes me think about the amount of care and dedication there is in the clan to make what WG is renowned for possible. The real-life events, WG tshirts, the videos... and it all basically says "WG's got balls". To me, you're now the greatest community clan left in RuneScape and if there's one clan I want to join and give it my final best shot - give everything I have to offer and make the most of it - it's Wilderness Guardians.

Damn true.
- Been to 3 Real Life meetings, 2 TS 1 WG
- Bought a WG t-shirt
- Got myself in the new recruitment video like 3 times
- Got Outstanding Donor + Outstanding Contribution GuardianScores
- Helped with the 5th flash movie
- #3 ex-member for most events attended
- Got up to Elite Guardian & a generic Historian rank
The list goes on forever.

Members I already know:

QUOTE
I know Raid Leader Maddness990, he was a leader of one of my clan's allies back in 2007 and Gunsnblades is also an ex-member of my clan, we get along pretty well. I'd say those are the two members of WG I know best.

Yeah... I know like, everyone in WG now tongue.gif Several I've met IRL, multiple tinychat sessions... WG is honestly my extended family.

Additional comments:

QUOTE
I may take some time to get the 12 combat levels I need to join, but you have my word, when I hit 105 I will join WG and give it all I've got. So there's my commitment to the clan - made the decision on March 7th 2009 and posted my intro on March 8th. I'm not hesitant to join in the community though, so I'll be in #Wg_Lobby whenever I'm on IRC and my private chat's always on, so add me and say hi happy.gif

My progress'll be shown in my sig, and hopefully you guys'll stick around long enough for me to join in the fun! Until then, I wish all the best to WG, the greatest clan left in RuneScape wub.gif

- Never trained Kecooler.
- Started WG_Keanu, got 100 combat in less than a year
- Joined WG october '09, was in for about a year and a half
- Overall think I had one hell of a career with you guys.

George, as I said before, no way in HELL did you make that in ms paint.
It's simply not possible.
