I was looking at a whole bunch of websites and i just realied that there is no facebook like social site for runescape players. I mean something that looks just like facebook were people can make profiles upload pics, post on their walls of what their doing. Get a thumbs up and share their runescape experience with the whole runescape community with a little more connection rather post on their own clan forums or just post on runescape community. What im talking about is not a forum Im talking about a actual social website just like facebook but for only runescape players. I think it will be a great succese i cant believe i didint come up with this idea a little sooner. Tell me what you think. Programing the website will take me around 2 weeks and around $1000. Tell me a few downsite and a few upsides. If this takes off even a with 10% of runescape players it will be worth it for me. good or bad idea? -------------------- | ||

Also going through endless kill pics and/or shots of you at a war/firefests/bossing would not be exciting enough to keep people on the site for long, therefore the advertisers wouldn't be interested. However if you are going to put down $1000 of your hard earned money you should probably use test out your ideas via market research (polls,opinions...)before launching the site also you have got to make sure that it does not violate any laws... Majority of Runescape players are very you and by connecting them to social networking like this may create widen already ongoing problems such as the case of online predators/ account sharing/ real world trading/ security.....etc....etc...etc. Is this really worth your time or could your time be put to better use?! I'm sure someone with your technical knowledge would have no problem working for someone who pays... -------------------- My Time Zone is Singapore GMT +8. You can take it that i will not attend any wars which collide with my university education, meaning 1am-6pm Mondays til Saturdays. | ||
