I Cba with this post now, im not gonna explain shit to every single person.

Post wasnt really about much of anything other than to see how other people are currently feeling, and to see if anybody else has noticed downfalls

Such as The amount of Yes's we get that dont turn up to wars, The amount of non sign ups we get, The amount of people that attend wars, and then leave during the middle of it... and even the weekend raids are dying down.

Where has peoples commitment for WG gone? look how many people just randomly left/went inactive

Every time i post shit like this, people think im trying to "attack" WG'

What is the problem with somebody attempting to point out issues?? If you guys think the overall level of commitment in WG is great and everybody is merry skippy fucking hold hands and dance around the garden, then srs i dont gotta say nothing, Because every week it seems like more and more people are losing there commitment for WG.

Peoples general attitude towards WG recently isn't even that great, Most of the people that replied to this, i never actually see around (so they don't really witness what i am) And the Council, Sometimes people don't want to bring there issues your way. (for quite a few reasons tbh..)

Next time im not saying nothing. Fed up of people constantly taking my shit as if im trying to row or disrespect, Honestly let me clarify something;

If i didnt want to be in WG, or thought that WG was fucking shit or whatever

I WOULDNT BE HERE.

Completely agree, im sick of the bitching and constant annoyance i get off a few members/raid leaders, yes you know who you are and it pisses me off, i heard (name removed by me) slagging off a good friend of mine in wg yesterday and i kicked him because i didnt like what i was hearing, and consequently i got banned for 9000 seconds. Explain this then the guy who kicked me (armybuilder) gets the right to ban me from the server kick me tb me on raids? For no reason what soever, and i can have alot of people vouch for me when he does it. Why does he not get in trouble what so ever? It really ticks me off, i respect alot of members here and a couple council, the event leaders and 1 raid leader, but WG is falling apart slowly and i know you know its happening, if it carries on this way theres hardly going to be a wg

No offence mate, but I really don't think this is a helpful post...
The best way to go about things is to alert the council to the problems and trust that they will do their jobs.

Trust in the leadership. Things don't always go to plan, and from my time in Council, I remember that it is very difficult to facilitate change in a big way over a short period of time.

Not your fault mate, but posts like this only serve to demoralise members and bring down the mood, making everything negative.
I know you mean well, and you are angry, but this isn't the way to go about it neko2.gif

Da Kno,

Allow me to address what you say are the issues with WG...

Less and less people turning up for wars/events - Based on what? The fact that we only had a handful of people at the Allied raid today? You can't honestly expect every Saturday to be bustling with activity. It's a slow weekend, and they tend to occur around this time of year when school is ending for people. Overall, our event and war pulls alike have been increasing in the past couple of months.

more and more trials not even attempting graduation - We've always had problems with trial guardians, but the amount/percentage of them not graduating has not gone up since I've been council.

our leadership has abandoned us - This is completely false. I've never seen a more active and dedicated leadership team in WG than we have at the moment. Is every staff member in WG perfect? No, but then again neither is every WG member.

[leadership has] given people titles/ranks that they just do not have the ability/care to live up to the title - I don't understand what problems you see in WG's leaders that make you think they are incapable or unmotivated. If there's any problem you see with WG staff, the best thing to do is bring up those issues with a council member. Addressing an issue such as that in a public forum is unproductive.

the people who seem to be actually trying to make an effort/doing a good fucking job, are being slagged off behind there backs - If you see/hear this type of thing, the best thing to do is bring up the issue with a council member. Addressing an issue such as that in a public forum is unproductive.

The rest of your post is unnecessary and excessive vulgarities, which are anything but helpful.

If your intention of creating this topic was to help WG in some way, you'd be much better off talking to a council member about the issues you've brought up, as I suggested earlier to the both of you.

With that being said, I am hoping that the both of you send me a private message before you even consider posting another reply to this topic.

Okay from this post I can see these issues:

- Less people turning up to wars/raids.
- Trials not posting graduations.
- Arguing.

and the one that seems to effort you the most...

- Who Council give the Raid Leader rank to.

Let me address each of these issues.

QUOTE
Less people turning up to wars/raids

We have been pulling solids 30's until this weekend. We had a bad pull and still pulled 26 starting for Genocide. I personally believe pulls have been good yet pulls can be alot better considering our memberlist.

Council is constantly working on weeding out the inactives and the people who choose not to war, give us time. We can't just kick out anyone who doesn't go to a war each week.

QUOTE
Trials not posting graduations

From a quick glance, the oldest trial guardian we have is Pietr who has 5 days left to graduate, so nobody is required to post one yet.

They might need time to gather sets or go to another couple events. When they go over the month, then it is an issue.

QUOTE
Arguing

Ah flaming, trolling on constant bad attitudes. One of the hardest things to stop. Realisticly we all have our bad moments and end up filling up with steam and reacting to something, or whether you just try to annoy someone who pisses you off. It happens. It shouldn't but it does.

Staff just has to control it, especially before it gets out of hand.

If you are reffering to the Wizard / Lumby / Dieyou issue, we have given out PLENTLY of warn levels and if they don't learn to act civilized, then one of them might be kicked.

QUOTE
Who Council give the Raid Leader rank to.

This one has always been a tough issue.

Let me tell you, I personally applied for Raid Leader over 5 times before I even got it. Council won't promote someone unless he is not only good at leading, but also good all round at dealing with people and issues, active, nice, and a whole lot of other stuff. We will promote someone when they fit into those criteria.

This doesn't stop regular members from calling at wars, or even pk trips. All that changes is op in irc, more private forums on the forums, doesn't change how you do you leading in game.

Kevin said it perfectly.

We've been continuously mentioned all over RSC about being one of the comeback clans of the summer. Our pulls, skill, direction, and community have all strengthened over the past few months. We've seen some amazing stuff from this clan. Now, if a few people are giving you (or anyone else) a hard time, don't let that ruin the clan experience for you. We're always willing to help work out problems. That's what we're here for.

Addressing Trial Graduations:

Part of the problem with trials is that they might not be sure they want to be in a clan. If they aren't involved from the start in irc and ts, it makes it harder for them to get the full feeling of what the clan has to offer. I really try to read all the applications with care and line people up that will hit it off as friends. Taking many things into consideration. Sometimes it is not a good fit. Mentee or Mentor always have the option of letting me know that. They have in the past too.I am a bit of a pain to the trials and pm then in irc and the forums to graduate. I recently made that bump post cause I was trying to get the clan to help in getting them to graduate.

To be honest, I can say that since I've been council the percentage that actually go from trial to graduate is much higher. If anyone has ideas on how I can help this get even better, just pm me or post them.

Arguing:

This problem seems to have gotten worse over the last week. One misunderstanding of someone trolling taken to seriously. It ended up involving more than the two original people and has gotten to be bigger problem then it needs to be. Warn levels were given out.

This being said, I feel that when I was on TS last night I was disrespected when I asked members to stop what they were doing. If I have this type of behavior continuing, I will put up a vote with the other council to revoke the privilege of members having private rooms on ts. I was the council who originally convinced the others to leave them. It's not necessary and they can be removed by us.

Staff:

We all care for you guys and that you have a good time while online. We try to resolve problems, joke and have fun. If someone in staff is upsetting you, you can come to any one of council and discuss it. But sometimes the answer that you get might not be the one you want or expect. It's sorta like when you ask your school to get rid of the principal or a teacher. They might be reprimanded and you not see it. Things do take time to resolve and longer if you haven't told us about it.

Thank you Garrett and Dallar.

is the day you have stopped leading them.
They have either lost confidence that you can help them

People do care, just sometimes rl gets in the way of being on the computer. Take a look at the big, long picture.

I've been here a long time and I don't see any big issues at the moment. In fact ever since being back I think things are a little bit on the up side. That is just my short take on it from being a week back.

I've seen a lot more idlers in IRC...which is great.

Leadership. Well i can also disagree with that, because i have always been able to ask/and communicate with the leadership team well. And i think the Warlord Council have the right ideas to bring WG up.

You've also got to consider the fact it's a busy time in the school year with exams.

If you're trying to make a serious point don't sink to making little personal attacks, people won't take you (or the points you're making) seriously if you start doing that.

I have much the same feelings as Vephy if I'm being honest, our current team of staff (in particular council) is among the best I have seen in my time in WG. It's a testament to the amount of effort that the council put in that they all put in the time to make well thought out responses to your post here very quickly, at times you wouldn't have seen that kind of response for weeks.

As they say, if there's particular people that you have an issue with it's probably best to PM council, they will listen to your concerns and will try and help if they can.

Oh, and I like the new topic title, it' probably reflects the contents better wink.gif

Its not about making personal attacks though really is it?.. Pretty sure if i wanted to do that i'd have already done it.

Stupid replies lead to stupid replies, If your just gonna post on my topic practically without reading it, purely for the "forum post points" then im not gonna be exactly respectful of it am i? As nobody else would.

I have no issues with anybody. Like i said im posting problems i'm noticing and trying to see if anybody else is noticing the same things.

i think people who don't sign up/sign up as a yes and don't show get warning level increase, i may be wrong. i signed up as a yes to geno war and then all of a sudden had such bad lag i couldn't see anything or even move so i just shut my comp off. instead of me trying to stick it out and cost wg a bunch of kills. like someone else said people may have rl stuff that popped up at the last minute. the council in my eyes have seem to be doing an awesome job. even though im not a rank ill try to help out on the trial grads so we can have our trials become full members
