Length: Just under 10 minutes Listen as you do something else, as long as it doesn't distract you from what I'm saying. I'd like your input on the matter at hand after listening. We accepted him back to try again and fix things. By allowing him to come into WG agian and give him his rank back like nothing happened? thats a little stupid in my opinion. Your treating him like a child. Why not have another TS meeting and see how everyone feels about this? Historian rank isnt even a real rank. its made up but it still has a lot of benefits. The rank is made for someone who updates everything and fixes stuff on forums, Isnt that your job? "We don't need the historian rank" so get rid of it? and by giving him the rank is favoritism. and lordy why do you act so Fake when it comes to talking with the whole clan. We know how you really feel about "Certain" stuff so why would you say something to someone in a private conversation. But when it comes to making your rep look good, your going to say completely opposite on how you truly feel. We retaliated when Keanu was insulting WG. WE flamed back and kicked his ass in wild. Dont you think its a little stupid after everything that has happened, to baby him and give him this rank back. and instead of trying to win members over by making us feel sorry for him, after we fought him for flaming us. You didnt even tell the whole story on what happened. your just trying to win over the members to allow this because of guilt. sorry Keanu your a cool guy but this isn't fair. dont have my trust.  --------------------   | ||||||||

Gene, you know you've pretty much, always had my trust, but as of late you've had to ask more and more for us to trust you because of things you have done or not done.. The thing that is really annoying me at the moment, whether this is your fault or not I do not know, but you and the council are going all out to improve activity (don't get me wrong, this is amazing!!), but also very hypocritical. The whole '3 strikes and you are out' thing... which will threaten my position in this clan when I go through my exams in under 2 weeks is ludicrous when according to that particular scale, you deserve to be kicked as well. Its unfair for people who work their way to the top. You mentioned calling this taking a risk, but I think its just unfair. We also need more members, welcome in a new age group or something because at a time the clan was primarily comprised of 14 year olds and we were fine, I actually joined when I was 13. I feel like now that we're "grown up" there's less appeal to the younger kids, formality is never too appealing - It looks nice to the clan world and adults but to kids it's more intimidating and annoying Oh btw I kind of rank skipped, not from banned to historian - but I was never at the higher guardian level because i was jumped up to mod from normal member and then I was put in elite or emeritus after that and honestly I don't give a shit about ranks anyways - the advantages are negligible and few - who cares if someone is boosted up to have more opportunities for post count and new and exciting forums. Also for a clan based off of a game, things are taken way too seriously here - what about when people wanted to have fun? I really have nothing against Keanu personally but you make it seem as if we're getting back a key historical figure from WG's past who completely changed us for the better and led us to success, when in reality it's some kiss-ass who, upon founding his own clan, made threats such as "I will fucking end your clan" but yeah lets just toss his ass back into some bullshit rank he got from sucking up. Yes, it is extreme bias, and unfair to the rest of the members. It is comparable to having Robw56 come directly into raid leader right now. Yes Keanu will work hard in the position, and it is our history that recruits people. But people need to look at it this way: Keanu pulls a huge burden off of your (Gene's) work, allowing you to spend your time with WG in IRC, on the forums, and in-game, rather than in Flash, which is where a lot of your WG time actually goes to. In the end it is more beneficial, so why not? If you are going to take this "risk" then you also need to take some recruiting risks. We are stagnant. We have members who are happy where they are, but they are not trying to do anything about it. Everyone needs ambitions, and we need to be pumped up for what we have ahead of us. If we want to compete on a serious level of warring, things need to improve. One thing that has always improved our morale has been a rivalry.The summer under BTO when facing Distortion, was absolutely exhilarating. So with the pressure off of you for the "behind the scenes" work, spend more time with our recruitment, encouraging recruitment (free trade means we can reward money), and boosting our morale (possibly a rivalry against Serenity?), so that our history and story will be back to its former glory. --------------------      | ||||||||

Keanu is a great guy he can just come off wrong a lot of times. I wasnt around when all the drama happened and he left so we have always remained friends. I think he has become almost a novelty of sort, Ive seen brand new members that dont even know him flaming him, they have no idea what he has done for wg and is capable of doing. Monkey see monkey do. Wg, like many clans, is a popularity contest. Keanu is a great clanmate and will 100% be more of a help than a burden as long as everyone stops trying to make drama where it isnt needed. No one is perfect we all have our flaws (dont get me started lolz), so if you sincerely personally have something against him (and not just following the crowd because you think its cool to hate him), why not treat it the way it should be treated and try to talk it over with him in pm? If you cant smooth things over in private than why not just not speak to him (or about him) and make everything better for all of us. We have enough problems going on theres no need to create more tension. --------------------

I fully supported his return and him getting the rank. You know I am one that looks after the well being of the clan always over my own choices at times. This is a good decision and I support Gene in it. I would make the same decision as Gene on this. Have faith in this decision and know that it is for the best. Don't try to destroy a good thing. Honestly, I hope everyone will give him the chance to be your friend. Keanu is a great person. He loves this clan. That means he will do whatever it takes to see us a success. Give him a little support. Undermining or complaining about him all the time will not help get us any better in pvp or any recruits. Give him opportunity to help us. You want to know how much opposition you'd have to deal with and how much anger you'd ignite. Sorry Gene, but being able to skip through Trail Guardian+ is unfair to those of us who have worked HARD for our rank. Sure Keanu may do a LOT of work on the forums and our wiki. I mean, what you're saying is that I can leave WG on bad terms, start a flame war with WG after making my own clan, end the war, come back and ask for my rank back on premise that I miss my friends AND ACTUALLY GET IT?!
