Lordy's words in his latest speech, but words that I can relate to. Yesterday I was kicked out of WG for leaking, and then later reinstated for lack of evidence against me. I have not had an official explanation, because as I have seen since my time back in WG, people who are banned do not get any notice, any explanation, any form of appeal. The first thing I get when I try to find out why I've been banned is 'I think you know what you've done'. Well no I didn't and I still don't really, I've just been able to piece things together from talking to people. From what I can gather I was kicked for leaking war attendance lists to WizardOfGod. Now I like Wizard and I respect him as a decent pker, but I hardly know the ****ing guy and rarely talk to him. Council, you have a leak, it's higher up than you think, and it wasn't me. Then there was my warn level for attacking a bot. I joined WG 7 years ago because of APK'ing, a form of APK'ing that does not exist in WG these days from what I've seen. Rev trainers are apparently fine to kill but Jagex rule breakers are a definite no no? Forget the 'rules' for a second and use common sense. My exams start soon so I'd be inactive for a solid 2 weeks anyway. I guess this is coming at the best possible time. Added to that I was overdue on graduating, having never been able to get the friends list screenshot or 5 referrals. I guess I just haven't fitted into WG this time around, which is probably my own fault. Last thing, I challenge anyone to post proof of me leaking and blow me out of the water. I'd never do that to the clan I love and grew up with. I wish WG and His Lordship all the best for the future. You've got a certain amount of really awesome staff and some great members. As to the banning thing, I don't know much about what went on, but from my point of view, you definitely have been treated unfairly. As I've tried to say many times, don't ban until you have clear evidence. Sure, things will get leaked in the meantime, but... so what? Damnit. In the future, I'm going to try my best to make sure no one gets banned or suspended, simply for being suspect, and to hell with anyone who tries to tell me otherwise. Also, warn level for attacking a bot? Frigging hell. That's just wrong. I'm going to go grump at the party responsible -- I mean, considering that on half the raids(at least, earlier ones) we'd kill everyone in the rev caves if we could, simply because it was /fun/...
