      IRC Nickname: rachellove Group: Council Posts: 6955 Member No.: 173 Joined: January 31, 2008 Total Events Attended: 305    | TS Clan Meeting Recap Attendance:  +Kat +Armybuilder1 PVP PLANS We started our meeting with my review some of our last TS clan meeting notes. Gene had made us aware at our last clan meeting that he was going more towards raids with two bigger wars to be planned each month. These were to be a better mix with f2p and p2p. We are acknowledging the fact that the clan world seems to be more f2p atm. PVP Suggestions This lead us in to a discussion of our current wants and needs as members in WG. It seemed to be a mix of things that came up I will use a list to help organize this. * The Guardians want more pvp and less cwa. The feeling is that cwa can be practice and the pvp more of the focused wars. * The Guardians want more full out wars and less run in wars. * The Saturday wars don't fit for the clan as well now that the average age is higher of the members. They enjoy going out on Saturday nights. * In considering our Aussie members, they work on Mondays, suggestions came up for Friday evening wars. (Sunday is still preferred overall.) * Suggested times on a Sunday were from 3 to 4 pm est time. (Note this is 3 am for Wayshow, but his school ends July 1st.) * Suggested times on a Friday were 7 pm est, 12 pm gmt, 5 am Wayshow, 7 am for Aussie, and 9 am for New Zealand. * Gear lists may need revised. Joe agreed to post a list in lvl 2 of his suggestions. Kevin and I will review the list and make changes that are agreeable. Probably going to go back to 10 f2p and 10 p2p sets. * Over all it is felt that an average of 3 raids a week would be good. However Ratslang would like to raid every single day. * To accommodate the people who would like to raid every day, we came up with a new attendance rule. They would need at least 5 WG members to attend the raid with no staff. They would have to post a recap for the event with attendance and pictures of the event. This will be a change to the Elite only may host raids for now. It can be changed back. Clan Recruitment, Applications and Graduations This was an interesting discussion on some possible changes to our application and graduations. Keanu brought up a few suggestion. One was not to have the application question number 2, which is adding all the council members. His second suggestion was to eliminate the 10 friends online screen shot. No decision is made at this time, but council will discuss it. Overall, it is very very important that we all are recruiting new members. Allies We got into a discussion about looking for new allies. Keanu suggested Ascencion. This clan was founded by Zeldagamer. Richie that hangs in our lobby is one of their council. They have close ties to the clan Downfall as well. This could strengthen us in f2p and help them in p2p. They are not an ARPK clan. This should be considered when thinking of being allied to them. Keanu stated that in his opinion they are not a NH clan. Kevin suggested that Rune Raiders might be a good alliance for us to work towards. They have approached WG for AC. If we agree to being Anti-crash to them, it will be a mandatory attendance if you are online during this. This is a clan we want to be friendly with. Training for success These are some suggestions that were discussed. * Purple Haze * Trainer Helpers * TS helps people that get bored easy. Try to hang out with them. * Change your nickname in the irc, this alert the clan to come on ts. Moderators for IRC Sometimes we need more time zone coverage for the late night est times. We have been having mass highlights with a script. It is very annoying to those in the channel. I plan on talking to Robbie to add a script to Robbiebot to take care of the problem. With this added precaution, we feel that at this time more moderators are not needed in IRC. After this is in place for a while, we can review the idea again. Tom has offered to help with the script. Moderators for Forums Very short discussion, everyone was in agreement that it is not really needed. The only need may come in individual forums. Example given was the gallery. If this becomes necessary it would be by sections of the forum and not the entire forum. Staff Notes From Kevin: Everyone should come on TS more. Just hang out on there, it makes us become closer friends and more active clan. Even if you are up late you can just type to us. It really is good for our community. From Rachy: Remember when you think of the number of people coming to things that we have world wide time zones and our member list currently is at 42. From Tom: Our last war with only one day prep was a great success. We pulled 21 people. Tomorrows war you may bring friends to the third round. They can be in other clans or someone that has no clan. It gives opportunity to recruit. From Kat: Attend the community events cause they are fun. (Spy those Penguins.) I was really happy to see so many in attendance and the input coming from so many people. This meeting went smoothly and stayed focused on working to improve the clan.
