The rank was already set up in ACP and I changed nothing. He got exactly the same access that the rank was originally set up for. "I" gave Keanu half-op on IRC as well. He goes to voice so only if he sees he is needed then he can switch to it and do whatever he needs to do. It's not like he sits there with the half-op and abuses it. He can't kick or anything at voiced. Seriously, I think this gets to be more of drama than needs to be. Gene probably doesn't even know atm what Keanu has or doesn't. He has been way to busy to worry about this. I re-created the rank on the rune head as well for our member list. I had to pick a color. I had Kat and Kevin both look at the color. Kevin adjusted the color for me cause it was to close to Tom/Raid Leader. If anyone has a problem with the color of the rank, just tell us now . . . This is issue is not as much about Keanu. I just want you to know that if you feel bias was done it was "me." I dont know enough about keanu to have any opinion on him personally, but in general i like that rank. BUT, what i do not like, is the powers that seem to have come with this new rank, surely having the wiki and clan page passwords are enough, i dont really see why he needs to become half op on irc, and im not talking about keanu, im talking about the rank, essentially, he should just be a normal member with a couple of special responsibilites. --------------------  | ||||||||

I spoke to JC about the IRC Rank and he told me at the voiced even if you are a half op you can not do any of the same things that you could do if you were a op. The two ranks work differently. One is only lvl 4 and the other is lvl 10 or higher. Also think of how many people supported having additional irc moderators. This helps with Joey's suggestion also. As Jayson said, he can only see lvl 2 on our fourms. It is in the ACP and any council member can verify this. The members opinions always matter, but they are not always in agreement with what is best for the clan. Gene acted in the best interest of the clan. From Rob:
He went from trial to guardian to higher to elite to historian to ex member to guest to banned to trial to Historian. He was asked to return to take the Historian Rank as he is really the best one for the rank. If we had others interested before all this drama maybe things would be different.

Its the simple fact that he hasnt been back even a month, and hes straight into level 2? He has gained elite access, in less than a month. Something the rest of the clan has been working at for months, sometimes years. Its not what he does for the clan. Considering like I said, 90% of the clan were against him getting the rank back, and wanted it to be given to him over time. Not 10 days later...its ridiculous. -------------------- | ||||||||
