I'm just suggesting we have a considerable increase in the number of practice wars we do. As the saying goes, practice makes perfect and we should try to get some sort of practice in everyday.

I'm not saying totally organized practice like CWA, but things like Fight CWs would be fine. Everyone just practices piling the same person, and with all the chaos it could simulate a full-out where both clan have massive opts.

If you want gather some friends together on a fairly empty FoG world and practice binding/hugging there. you get tokens to repair/buy the armor.

I'm also in favor of last minute practice literally before the war. I suggest we mass an hour before the actual time, and use maybe 30 minutes to actually do some practice. If we do that, we'd already be in the mindset we should be in.

That's all really.

Practice! Practice! Practice!

I like the idea of practicing after the war. Practicing before the war would be a good idea if not for the ancient goblin mace special. I get that ready the day before, and do not really have time to get my prayer back up again after a practice event.

Well, that was just an idea. If you were very picky you could try your hand at it a second time by grabbing salve(e) and hitting one of the skeletons near BH.

If i have the time/availability, I will try to make 1hr prep cwa intra clans (most i can do w/ my time frame during the week). But as you said, these are crucial and we really need to make sure we have our tanking up to par, tsc's binding is extremely good(85% of tsc hybrids as they have 94 mage+ b/c they are p2p).

Idk. We've done a few, they are boring and attendance is flakey. A majority of the people that show up need no warring help.

I know, I try to go when I'm online. However even the best practice. Major league sports players don't stop practicing because they are the best in the world.

I see what you mean, but I still think if we're able to make them mandatory, or at least put a heavy weight on them people might come. Things would need to be worked out, but I think we can do it.

I mean, lots of people on RSC think we are pushovers. Sure we can beat them if we are on our A-game, but practicing more frequently should allow u to be a that level more often than not.

I would support going for a practice after the war.
This is because the war is fresh in people's minds and even if we did still win, there is always stuff to improve on.
We could tackle the problems as they emerge straight after the war.

The only problem with this is that a lot of people log off after wars for various reasons, too late, too early, tired etc.

That's fine, what I'm really suggesting is just more combat related events to help us with the war. It doesn't have to be formal CWA training where we practice tanking and binding specifically, but something fun like FoG or CWars.

Both of those mini-games helps in terms of wars:
Cwars with piling and ability to navigate among a lot of people. FoG can be used to practice binding/hugging.

If we do more formal CWA training, that is great also because it's the same environment that the actual war would be in, so we can get even more familiar with it.

Completely agree. I think less people would log off after wars if they knew there was a practice event after, and one that they could get additional attendance for.

Another reason to have practice events after the war is so that people who get cut still get a chance to participate.

It is also a good way to keep morale up after a loss. Coaches use the same strategy to keep up the morale of their players after a loss. For example, when I was in cross-country and track, if we had a bad run or meet the coaches would not let us sit around and feel bad, they would tell us to get up and do a cooldown or else we will be sore for practice the next day. It reminded us of the bigger picture: that there are still other meets, and we are continuously practicing and getting better.
