A war we probably could have pulled off fairy easily with our numbers. Maybe not easily, but we definintely should have done better Im not gonna be nice about this. I'm ****ing pissed off about this, so sorry if I offend you. First off. Teamspeak If you're not a leader, shut the **** up. Dont call your own ****ing piles. The ONLY person that should be speaking is the main leader. You know why we were so bad? Because no one knows what the **** the main pile is because theres ****ing 4 people speaking at the same time on ts. ONLY the leader should be speaking. I can gurantee you, over 70% of our members had no idea what our pile was because they couldnt hear a damned thing. I dont mean to be mean so cruel and mean, but its YOUR fault. Voice should be given carefully. You might say that its cause they lead the attack, but we should have recovered much more quickly. We lost about 20 people before we recovered. Second of all, antisnipe. Where the hell was this? We had a discussion on this in #boogs after the triforce war. We didnt have a damned anti snipe that war, and none of our hybrids could bind. This war, we didnt learn, and the first 20 minutes infi-runners dragged us all over the ****ing arena. Im tired of hearing people say "oh where the hell are our hybrids, blame the hybrids." How the **** are we supposed to bind when theres 5 +120s sniping the crap out of us with no opposition? Third of all, Tanking. What the hell. I'd say about 10 of us tanked for over +30 seconds. Time and time again, I saw about 5 kos in succession. I know its hard to tank with 40 people on you, but honestly, barely anyone tanked. How many of you can raise your hands and say you tanked? Im sorry if I offended someone, I'm just so pissed off. I know alot of leaders will not like reading this, and I'm sorry in advance. This should have been a war we should have won. I got killed with no food however i also was k0ed(didnt get to tank at all i was binded so hard so im pist with myself as well) however i had 10 food ffs....thats not enough to do much with.... also the fucking warlords totally stopped fucking being enthusiastic and encouraging and acted like we had already lost at 28-29 when we could have pulled it back if we had some higher morale. Instead it went to 20-28 and 0-25....thats sad. Warlords need to be more enthusiastic and keep morale up and not say we are done till its over.(we hear you voices in the ts, when you start giving up, we give up) Anti Snipe- We need a lot of anti snipe because what we have right now isn't working. P.S- If we could have kept the enthusiasm and fun from when alex(mute him on ts at war start btw) said lordy had no tank gear and lordy tried defending himself. If we kept the laughter of that the whole way through. It would have been an easy win for us. --------------------  | ||||

It was at 26 v 13 I had lost hope. Sorry if your looking for some enthusiasm when they have twice our numbers in a war we didn't do well in. BTO, I see exactly where you are coming from and I agree with you. Our teamspeak was terrible at the start, with Alex calling his own piles, Rob attempting to get us going like he should be, myself repeating Rob's calls and anyone else who may have been talking shouldn't have happened. We had a terrible start, seeing how they never told us when they were rushing. When I asked him why after the war he said something like "clans don't have to tell the other when they are rushing, you should be ready as soon as the wall drops". I don't agree with it but hey they did it and whats done is done. Our anti-snipe was terrible today I agree. At the beginning Rob did tell about 6 people to anti-snipe, I don't think any did. Maybe they didn't hear him, I don't know. Maybe they were too rattled because of our start, who knows. From now on I'm going to make sure we have our snipers and anti snipers sorted out well before. Our tanking was terrible today your right, not sure what happened there. -------------------- Now back to the good part! | ||||

 IRC Nickname: Karlfischer Group: Ex-Member Posts: 664 Member No.: 124 Joined: January 12, 2008 Total Events Attended: 55 | One thing I noticed about RE is that they always went after the easy pile, whoever was around them and out in the open. Many times the person being piled even expected it, yet it did not matter they got the KO anyways. I think it just goes to show that if you get a good bind and enough people on the pile at the same time, the person is going down regardless of if they are expecting or not. We tend to do the opposite of RE, we pick out someone in their pile. When we have to search through 20 names on right click to find the pile the result is that about half of us actually find the pile, and the rest are standing around searching through their right clicks. The problem is that we have thrown enough people at the person to warn them that a pile is on them, but not enough to actually get a KO. There were a few times durring that war where I wondered why we continued to pile people who were tanking us. If we do not get a KO and they are running across the map with dhide top, inf run, and full hp, we need to just regroup and call a new pile. The snipers are right there, they are easy kills if 40 people turn and hit them at once. In a full out war I tend to think anti-snipers are a bad idea (atleast in the beginning), because KOs are so important. Splitting the pile up with snipers makes it harder to get a KO, and with 50+ people killing the snipers should be fairly easy and it is quicker than trying to organize a fall in and go in for a new pile. What I am saying is when we have that many people, the snipers should be scared of us, not the other way around. --------------------   | ||||

They literally had hybrids in the center, in robes just binding everyone in site, which complements what Karl said that they went after people in the open. Their hybrids would just bind our people out of nowhere even while they're piling someone else. We need to work on our pile transitions, because having to fall in after each kill wastes time, and gives them a chance to put on their Rune and Prayer. We should have the next person picked out while the current target is being dropped so that we know who to look for. I know we do this already, but we need to work on this. One thing I noticed, is that a SHIT LOAD of people never put Prayer on. I mean, I saw literally person after person get KOed instantly because they never put Prayer on. We have to work on that. I might make a suggestion. If ever we're piling someone while the enemy pile is nearby, we might want to make a quick switch regardless of whether or not the current target is dead. The reason being that the person we decide to strike suddenly won't expect it at all. If he's got 40+ people all of a sudden hitting him, half hitting 5 damage, that is 100 damage and an instant KO. After that we just go back to the person we were attacking earlier, assuming the KO is swift. That is just an idea. --------------------   | ||||

Yeah, i even heard you say stuff about the Anti-snipe to DZ ingame... Even i said it. We had NO anti snipe. I saw Groedius and i think Randy try to fight them off, i even helped out. But we got kicked the the buttocks for it. And also, i can say i tanked  EDIT:

Some members are bound to whitescreen/lag when their computer is bombarded with messages of 40 odd pixel's attacking them. Far too many times I saw "PILE MEMBERX, HE IS IN THEIR PILE" and I would sit their for like a minute clicking around hoping desperately to find him. What needs to happen is we need binders ready to bind the pile right as it is called, making it easy for all to find them. That is how you win fights. When we are calling piles from the middle of their group and not even binding them to make them easily findable AND picking the high levels, we have 3 strikes against us before we even get a hit off. -------------------- | ||||

The more of us wearing fog mage gear the better really as long as it's our high def members.. I heard someone tonight shout for me to put on my melee gear... Nah, I say the more of us 99 def's putting on a show and teasing those snipers the better!.... Sure we are going to get slapped around abit but heck didn't we just recieve a good beating anyway?
