      IRC Nickname: Karlfischer Group: Ex-Member Posts: 664 Member No.: 124 Joined: January 12, 2008 Total Events Attended: 55    | This is an event to boost our prayer before the war next week, which involves bashing zombies in the face with our Ancient Goblin Mace specials. If you do not have an Ancient Goblin Mace yet, you really should get one for before the war. If you want to get your prayer up a day ahead of time, feel free to do that, but if you are like me you do not want to go without using your prayer for a day and hate waiting for the special to recharge. Here is what we do, we gear up and go into BH to reset our special (on a world that is empty in the high lvl pit, so we do not risk death), and then use our specials on the zombies in the graveyard just east of BH, then repeat until our specials are high enough that we are satisfied (which is generally 20+). BH is perfect for getting prayer up because it resets special and energy, however it does not reset your prayer or stat bonuses. -When: 1 hour, 30 minutes before the war. -Where: Meet at BH, world 143. The world will change if the high level pit is active, but every time I have been there previously it is dead. -What to bring: Ancient Goblin mace, salve ammy (gives bonus for fighting undead), your armor with highest strength bonus, super attack and strength. Ewww, why would you want to do it that way? It takes alot more time, and you waste tele charges. EDIT, plus duel arena restores your stats to normal before the fight, while BH does not. That means that if you use the duel arena you have to repot every time you spec, and you do not keep your prayer at the best spec you hit. Lets say I hit a 18...that is pretty good, and so with BH prayer does not reset itself and if I do not hit over a 18 I still keep the +18 prayer bonus. With duel arena prayer resets itself, and so if I get an 18 then I have to reset my prayer bonus and try all over again, hoping that I will eventually get a better spec in. -------------------- | ||

I actually thought about using CWA, however quickly concluded that it does not work nearly as good as BH because your stats reset. Hence it is the same problem with duel arena where you had to pot up again for each special, and you do not keep your highest special. -------------------- | ||
