If they're falling in, and then you ask them to put their robes on, you wouldn't be able to see each individual person, so what's the point? tongue.gif

you know the problem isn't their
nearly 90% of the people got hybrid gear with them...but they simply dont dare to bind..
mostly bc their afraid to get sniped..

i know i get sniped a lot, and i've heard my name so many times on TS, to put on my rune..
but if nearly no1 else is binding..

When theres a tank/bind event hosted, the binding is outstanding
but when we got a war, theres a lack of people actualy binding..

We need to work on this, and learn to trust our Anti-Snipe unit

Wouldn't it help if our "Anti-Snipe" was half of the main pile? It would help if there was a certain reflex to turn around and attack once the sniper to make him flee...

yea, but knowing that, half of our pile will probably chase the sniper.
and our current target will be able to drag us everywhere, tank us to death, and make us lose our organisation.

Thats just what i think
imo, it will be better if we assign like 5-8 people ( depending on our opts) who are occupied with Anti-Sniping

Agreed but I also think most hybrids, including myself were scared of getting sniped. I got sniped a lot and lost a lot of food due to that but it does help a lot to hybrid.

Offtopic: Was the second pile thing in the beginning a new tactic to try out or just for fun?

To snow's 1st point: Yeah, but instead of falling in, spreading out and then individually being told to fall in (quickly obv..)

To snow's 2nd point: I'd suggest 15% tops of our full turnout being assigned to anti-snipe, this would ensure that enough people are still on the main pile.

I think the people who should snipe should be people who actually know what they're doing. Also, hybrids should be binding, but yesterday even when trying to bind I was getting sniped and near the ending of the war we had no snipers left so no one was hardly binding.

Not sure if this help but I think the leaders should wear a distinctive armour to us? Maybe Full Rune G to show us where they are so we can locate them quicker as I found it troubling to look for leader to fall in.

Fall in leaders wear different capes.

For example, I wear a Defence cape + full saradomin armour

Robert wears Fire cape

BTO wears some brown cape tongue.gif

Yeah really I was really mad when no one was hybriding at our last war. Members should be honest though and do what's best for the clan and not in their own interests or we could lose more fights.

Very true.

However, its better not to not bind than to get KOed, if you're really unsure if you could survive. When hybriding, you are at risk, especially in large wars when its harder to see what's going on.

Fortunately our anti-snipe is quite good.

I do bring bind runes... But I have a serious problem changing armor in the middle of a fight fast enough. I'm not that great at it, and sometimes my mouse just doesn't click right.

Had a discussion on this with Joe and Genny... Both of them are experienced snipers and say Triforce's antisnipe shuts them down. Basicly, what triforce does is have EVERYONE on the mainpile turn aroudn and hit the sniper a couple of times.

If a person says they're a hybrid but dont actually bother taking out robes to bind, in a way thats the same thing as lying. I think thats warn lvl worthy dry.gif

That idea you just said there, about the entire main pile attacking the sniper and then going back to the main pile is an idea I post a while ago, but I don't think has been tested.

We should really test it out because it would almost ensure a KO. If we've got 40 people on the main pile, and everyone turns around to hit, and 50% of the people hit and the average hit is a 5, that is 100 damage - KO. I mean, and chances are whoever that person is, isn't praying so it's an easy kill for us.

We should really test this out at our practice events.

See, sceptics? hash.png

Even though it's disorganizing, we should start training right away. I remember when people first thought snipers were a bad idea because they would create too many piles to get attracted to...
