Against LPKT. Why did we have no snipers at all?
More than half of them were binding freely with no pressure at all.

Sorry, just had to ask.

And, looking at our turnout and comparing it to our memberlist, it's obvious we need an activity sweep.

700 posts

Edit

We lost because they were the better warring clan.
We lost because we didn't deserve to move up to league one.

grats on the big 700 posts tongue.gif

anyway, on to my thoughts of the war. We could have done a lot better, and we should NOT have lost that full out with our numbers. We're still gonna finish 3rd in our league, which isn't bad, but we once again could have done better.

Our numbers to wars has been slipping after our big 70 people "war" with TSC. We pulled 61 to RE, and lost that, dropped to 57 against mori, then 53, our biggest low, here.

We definitely need that activity sweep and we need to encourage players to sign up for wars and go there.

Just a thought, maybe we could put the inactivity sweep in the form of the next war.

That was terrible, to be honest.

I'm partially responsible because I got killed with food left. I saw them coming before they piled me and stuck prayers on + hugged. I just didn't eat fast enough though. Partly because i'm knackered and think slowly atm, but largely because I'm out of practice, and haven't been in a proper tank practice for well over a year, which actually tests your tanking ability instead of using up your food against 5 people..

And we needed more people anti-sniping. Their snipers (in the matched opts) were constantly bugging us. There was one I kept targetting and it worked well, but there were at least 5 snipers. We NEED at LEAST 2 people on each sniper. It gets more important in mid-late war when there's no chance of a KO on the main pile.

I don't believe our fighting ability is any better than it was back against TSC. The only thing I can say about it was the good pile switching and some swift KO's, but that's only the tip of the iceburg.

Us being outnumbered made the biggest difference in the full out. Many people got koed, and our hybridding was weak compared to theirs.

But anyhow, LPT is a great warring clan and we shouldn't feel down because of this defeat. We can still barely make it to the next division.

You cant snipe when your clan mates are getting dropped with no prayer on. As soon as a sniper steps foot near them you will get piled because the person piled before you got ko'ed. We just need to get more organized and people need to realize when they turn around to hit a sniper while anti sniping. You hit them and when they run away you get back on the main pile.

+1

I was sniping during the full out and matched. During the full out I was doing fine cause we had some tanks.

In the matched, I died and had 9 pizza halfs left. I ran into them right after they had koed another member of wg. I ran when I saw a member die and 15 seconds later went back, their was another dead wg falling....they switched to me and i got piled.

When members cant tank, you cant snipe.

I can't stress how much we need an activity sweep. We should be pulling 70/80 on a regular basis with 130 members.

I've just had a look at LPT's ML. TBH, I was pretty shocked when they arrived at CWA and looked at all their levels. Those levels are really strong. I don't even know why they are placed in League 2. Those strengths are a force to be reckon with.

- 85% of their listed fighters have more than 90 and above attack.
- 68% have 90 and above def. With another 68% of those in the 96 def above (whole chunks of 99s).
- 93% have 90 and above strength. 68% within those 96+ above.

I can't say much, but as far as I can tell, its not just the opts, we're talking about serious stats. It will be a very hard win, although numbers and organization might even it out somewhat, but it will take alot of numbers/organization.

I remembered seeing almost all of them hybriding and binding. 72% are lvl 80+ mages. So, I do think we had put up a fair fight. And I don't think much can be done about being KO-ed out easily.

Possibly, there's a need to review what to do up against a clan with this much advantage in stats. Dependant on activity is one thing but we know we can't always rely on that. If you do the sweep, you might land up with about the same active numbers, possibly a little more but it will waver. This war was hugely a stats disadvantage. 2 cts thoughts.

P.S. Btw, where did most peeps went off to after the full out huh.gif did enough stayed on for the matched opts, I think?
