Well that might be a way of doing it but my secret is this I went to crystalxp.net they have a number of different styles called bricopacks which you can download and use and you can download lots of additional content as well -------------------- | ||||

how does your cpu run.....mine can barely run counterstrike souce without getting laggy and my internet is quite slow to when i have more than 12 tabs.....wtf is this....you have like 20 programs running at the same time.... --------------------  | ||||

Very well actually - things don't lag at all really(unless explorer.exe decided to use up all the resources and has to be crashed). I have two gigs of ram(although I haven't noticed much difference sense back when I had one gig), but I have an old 3.2ghz single core p4 processor(Northwood). My graphics card is a Nvidia FX5950 ultra, pretty slow by todays standards. Either way, I have no trouble running 5-10-20 or more tabs in Firefox, am always running Winamp & Trillian 3 basic, xfire, whatpulse... I run a lot of things. Runescape lags somewhat, however that is because of my amazingly high ping(800-1500). Black & White 2, my most recent game, runs fine at full specs(I have played it with all those other programs running too, no problems there) - no noticeable lag at all. edit: Oh wait, I have Portal: The First Slice, which ran fine also... Part of my good speed probably stems from not having a bunch of crap running at startup - I make sure nothing runs unless I have approved it first. This means that, unless I am currently running said program, its like it wasn't ever installed(more or less). I am also running XP SP1, and while I may not be protected by the latest patches and whatnot... it runs better. I also don't get viruses, as I use the best anti-virus software ever invented: Common Sense(Well, that and ZoneAlarm Security Suite). I am quite happy with how this computer is running, and don't plan to upgrade for a while. edit: Internet wise, I can't have more than half a dozen tabs loading at once, or firefox does get slow - however I can be browsing on like 3 or 4, and downloading full speed in the background with no trouble! -RobbieThe1st -------------------- Old Avatar - Paypal donation link I am left handed, and proud of it!
