 Before I start, I'm very sorry that I disconnected after only three or four rounds sad.gif My power went down in our street and so obviously wireless went caput hash.png

It came back on about midnight however i was watching a TV show i like so not on till now (1am tongue.gif)

Anyway, yes from the first few rounds, it seemed to be going well. Some good tanking from everyone who went, and nobody was KO'ed by me while I sniped. Well done guys smile.gif

Unfortunately I had planned on taking the ending attendance instead of the starting attendance in order to avoid giving attendance to the people who came, did their tanking, and then just left. If anyone else managed to get attendance could you please edit it into this post? <3 I'll add to the Attendance list smile.gif

What is it?
F2P Tanking, Hybriding, and KO Resistance Training

What to bring?

  • Full Rune
  • F2P Staff
  • Hybrid gear (Mandatory)
  • Optional range gear
  • F2P Food (Swordfish, Anchovy Pizza)
  • Strength Potion
  • Bind Runes



Information

  • Range & Melee + Binds only
  • Tanking - When it is your turn to tank, you will be in a clan chat with the sniper and will attempt to survive as long as possible in the middle boundaries of CWA while being attacked by Range and Melee attacks. Plan your strategy including prayer accordingly.

  • Ko Resistance - A sniper in P2P gear (Thus why it's on a P2P World) will be attempting to KO the snipers and the rangers. If the sniper attacks you, you must switch to rune, put on your prayer, and attempt to hug the sniper. The sniper WILL NOT get off you until you have the situation under control (i.e. you have eaten to close to full, have your rune on, and have melee prayer activated.)

  • Hybrid practice - Linking in with the Ko resistance, hybrids will be required to keep the tanker binded at most of the times. The tanker should not be able to drag. While binding, you must keep an eye on your HP at all times, watching out for the sniper. If the sniper chooses you as his target secretly, do as shown in the above point.
Please, the most important thing you take away from this is that THIS IS THE SORT OF THING THAT HAPPENS IN WARS. You will be sniped while you hybrid, and MUST NOT be hit too hard by him. You must be able to put on your rune as soon as possible and prayer on. REMEMBER: The sniper is not going to want to waste his time on you if you have prayer and rune on... he only wants to hit the binders, so if you want a sniper off you: PUT YOUR RUNE AND PRAYER ON.


Note: If you abuse the fact that this event needs to be held on a P2P world by bringing ANY P2P item that helps you tank/hit then warn levels will be issued. You have been warned beforehand. This includes wearing skill/fire capes.

 Good job guys. As a sniper, I only saw 1 ko. Mostly everyone did well tanking.
