However I would like to know what your opinions are as far as how it should be enforced. After tomorrow I am going to take the list of those who put their name on the IA, add to it those who have posted inactivity, and then I will be left with a bunch of names who are "Inactive". This may be 30 or it may be 75, I really don't know yet. My question is, what do YOU think the next step should be? Do they just all get kicked? Do Emeritus' get exempted from this check? Do we just save the list and do nothing about it? etc... Thoughts please. -------------------- | ||

Make the list, and warn them that if they don't get active within the next month, they will be kicked. Emeritus shouldn't be exempt from this though. Even if they don't play RS anymore, they still have an account in f2p, and they can attend wars. That's just my opinion. - Vince. --------------------   | ||

If they become active again they'd make a new application and start back at the bottom. MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE CHECKED FOR VAILD INACTIVITY TOPICS FIRST. Emeritus should have one month to respond to the PM. Also, if they don't respond to the forums PMs (which will obviously be the main method to try to talk to them), don't just kick them. Email them, call them if you have their numbers, etc. As for Emeritus, use the same method with them, but give them an extended period of contacting you about their inactivity. Most of them don't go online on a regular basis. -------------------- | ||

As far as kicking people for being inactive. I say yes, if they do not want to stay. But those you can not reach or do not respond should be moved to an inactive list. That way we can exclude the "inactive" from our stats. Though I believe anyone who has gone through the trouble of becoming a member and maybe attaining rank should be given every opportunity to come back, if they so choose. But please, keep in mind that activity goes up and down. Real life does have a way of interfering with our fun. WG  --------------------  WG love forever, Kristy  | ||

I'm sure you have. But please, reply more. It makes them appear (to the non-leaders) much more 'finished' and included on the whole. --- On topic, I'd probably give them all a PM allowing them a few days to respond, then give the kick. The PM shouldn't be a direct challenge, but an inquisitive way to find out why they haven't posted in the activity check. There could be many rl reasons why they suddenly disappeared, and could be back.
