I feel nothing for Wg. The last time I left it was under friendly terms. I felt like I was in a family and a clan that cared but I also had alot of friends who invited me to go and help them build up a clan. this time when I returned I came to a place where. Sure the warring skill are improving, there are more wars and challenges. But it does me nothing there is no fun in fighting along with people who just don't care about eachother. So far I've seen alot of arguments sprout. Almost everyday I was on Irc I'd run into people argueing. These arguments could be about the smallest things and it felt like I was thrown back into kindergarten into a group of 6 year olds. Sure our warring is improving and there is more. Change is indeed good. But for this Wg is also sacrificing what it stands for. Community. Which one? Skilling sector? It lives. There are many events but the turn outs are poor. There is no motivation to attend these events and the small portion of this sector is chucked away in a corner. This is why I'm leaving. Sure I like wars alot. But being in a clan where the community fucks me over every day is just annoying me to no end. To those of you saying 'So instead of doing something about it you leave'. There are plenty of people attempting to do this. I tried this by keeping the clan chat active and I had far more ideas but when I was doing this cc thing I often got responses such as 'why should we bother' or 'you're not a ranked member'. The problem is not that there are very few members and only a select few ranked people trying. It's just that the rest of the people are lazy. To have a good clan with good community warring skills and an active side skill sector. It requires an effort from everyone. Not a select few members. To those of you who may want to make an effort. Go to the people whom you know you have differences with and try to clear it up. State what you just dislike about them or ask why the have a problem with you and let both of you try to make an effort to lessen these worse factors. Don't make the world. But make the clan community a better place and start with yourself. Have a good look at yourself. Don't be too quick to say that person has a problem. Maybe it's a problem that lies with you. It may seem childish but it's something that works. There is no point in forcing you to like somebody. But please just try to stay neutral with the people in this clan. If you don't like someone keep it to yourself just for the people around you. This is a clan. A group of different people with different personalitys. There is bound to be agression between two people. But before you two jump at eachother and start to rip the organs out of eachother think about the other people around yourself. I've had to reflect on myself a few times. The first was in Wg and thanks to Valdremia and I managed to just help myself out of it. The second was in another friends clan. I was threathend to be kicked out due to me being to agressive and to easily provoked. I learned how to control my temper more. I still have times where I just heave to leave an irc chat/ignore a conversation for a while bcause I know I'd start to say things I would regret later. I'm pretty sure that this post will go to deaf ears which is a pity. Also I suggest some of you who do manage to care go and read tnuacs post in the suggestions forums it has alot of strong and valid suggestions but he would definatly appreciate your input. Also Starz has made a strong point aswell with her Hall of shame. It would be sad though if it had to come to that but if thats the only way to wake people up then I guess that'd have to be it. Also to those of you ready to jump and say 'You never even made it past trial member'. I have attended 4 wars and 4 skill events I was also inactive for 11 days during my trial period and the trial graduation system changed during these days. I still have attended enough events. I'm pretty sure I'm active enough considering during the time period I was active I was on irc and the in game clan chat. I'm pretty sure i'd get a fair few people to vouch for me and the friend list screeny wouldn't be too much trouble to take. I'm not saying I'll most certainly pass. I am saying I made a good chance. Oh yes this is also a leaving post but a big suggestions mainly. I still have my 3 days. If I can see noticable changes. Not big ones but small noticable ones. I'd like to reconsider. No, with changes I don't mean words. All the words have been spoken. Maybe it should be time to take action. A coward can easily shift the blame to somebody else. But it takes a real man/Woman(=P) to come out and take it. The best example in Wg history for this would be a post made a long time ago by Mochacho. But I'm not gonna dig up from a long forgotten past. --------------------  |

I spent quality time reading all of it. The old school is dying. But I'm not here to pass much comment on that. I want to talk about you. It was clear to me that you were a mature thinker and you had high expectations, which always challenged me to lift my own. From my own experiences you were very active and helpful. A lot of the time what you did wasn't appreciated, but quietly I appreciated it. Its painful to see you leave because of what you wrote. I keep hoping for a change for the better. WG needs one. If after these 3 days you are not back, I hope you're in the lobby now and then.  --------------------  |

You can see that you have thought this out and did more than just "leave" because things were getting worse. You tried to view things to still give WG a chance. They were all valid points and included great suggestions. I have seen you talk in IRC and have seen you say that people hate you and that you always see people arguing. That is not true. I do not hate you, even though I have not really met you. Your first impression on me has been a great one, and it makes me disappointed in myself and also WG that I did not get to personally meet you and get to know you, and that you were treated and shown the sides to make you feel like that. I hope the changes that you are looking for happen before your 3 day period is over, so that you can continue with WG. --------------------      |

But it's obvious we're making such large sacrifices for a chane that is taking away the idea's that Wg once stood for. Wg has always pride itself in being a different clan not just another among many. But when I hear suggestions now it's usually like. 'Because other clans do it like this' and 'that clan does it like so' I agree that this is fine for warring but when it comes to our community or our whole system this clan is based on. Then we don't need to take this from other clans. Being different is what appealed people to Wg. Yes I know that the system and the people in Wg can't stay the same for 3 years. I didn't expect to come back and find everything like it was. What I am saying is. The ways things are going isn't the way Wg is. --- Lol thanks Gene. In my many years of trolling these forums and studying the people who have come and gone, I've begun to see the same things over and over. Nothing we are doing is wrong, it's just human nature, the same thing that is affecting nearly every institution worldwide today, that is simply tearing the community apart. It's sad really, that people can't seem to work together for a common goal anymore. I don't know where it went wrong, but it did. It really did.
