Havochaha's 5 Point plan for the Wilderness Guardians. 1. Clean up. 2. Close up. 3. Strengthen up. 4. Secure up. 5. Release the flow. This is a sure way to get the Wilderness Guardians up! If your not going to bother reading the entire thing just stop now. Clean Up. Lucky for us our wonderful Leadership team has already done half the work. We have taken out all the very inactive people in our clan but thats only half the work. There are still members in this clan that just sloth away at us. Tmal's method worked for some of the inactives but not all. Any member could have simply saw the post or his pm and just post saying he/she was active. Now we need a method that works. I Suggest that we take a mandatory attendance requirment for all members. That way we see who really is active and who is not. The number of events can be decided by leadership team and event leaders. I think this is a very effective method because this can drown out the people that seem active against the people that are really active. Theres always going to be those members that just see an event or war happening that they dont want to go to and just go offline or act like they have to go some where. Well know thats goin to bite them back. We should make War attendance mandatory sign ups and for those who are on 1-2 hours before the war be monitored untill the war time. Those who sign off be marked and if that signing off is constant before war time be warned. Those methods will be effective we all know it we just dont want to go that far because we know were going to lose good members and it's going to take a lot of work. This is for the good of the clan though so if we need to kick a bunch of people that are slowing the clan down then so be it if they were really a part of this family they would help out. After the clean up is done our member list will seem weaker but in reality it will have been a strong clean memberlist showing the true members of WG the new beginning the new Wilderness guardians. Together we can rid of all the waste in WG and prove to everyone who the Wilderness Guardians really are. Close Up I understand many of you will dis agree with this but hear me out. The wilderness Guardians are constantly accepting members who seem to be superb clan mates and end up inactive. We need to stop that flow for a period of time to let us repair the Clan we have in front of us. I know Wilderness Guardians hasn't closesd Applications since the Junior Clan Split but I think its time for it again. To really repair our clan we need to stop the flow of the one rush members. One rush member is a member thats active for say a week then just happens to dissapear. I see many of them latley. If we want to repair our clan were goin to have to stop adding on to it. We need a strong foundation if we want to really improve our status. Its hard to repair if more and more work keeps coming constantly. I know many of you are thinking im a complete idiot but it has to be done. The applicatoins can be closed for weeks or months depending how long it takes us to fix our home. We can always still have intros thats not a problem those who really want to join the clan can always wait. I mean if they really wanted to join theyll wait a while its not like they cant come to public events and/or clan events if they're invited Those who have already applied/introed will be allowed apply of course seeing as how they already were on there way on joining. After the applications are closed our clean up process will take care of any remaining One rush members and leave us with the Wildernses Guardians we all remember and love. Strengthen Up With the clan clean and closed its time to do the real work, fix it. I know WG isn't all about combat but that's how the clan world is now adays. Im not saying we should throw away our skills and go straight into a pure combat clan. The clan world is all about combat or at least the majority. We need to improve our combat status in WG. I know there are some members who are skillers but are still really active. Raising 1 combat lv a week is not that hard. Its about 3 att str or def levels. Its not hard its just annoying. You dont have to get it all at once just once in a while go training. If we can do this to all members get our strength up as a clan we will have almost completed what we call WG. The old School WG would be back and all we had to do was train. I know its going to be hard but well think of something. We can make events where we all train somewhere or where we have a competition with prizes and stuff. Its not impossible. Ive been in other clans and they do it fine because everyone in that clan wants the same goal to prosper there clan and get to the top. If we can make everyone feel that same way there's no limits to what we can do. Were a family and a team we should work as one in every aspect. If this is accomplished we can officially say that the hardest part of repairing Wilderness Guardians is over. This will be the turn point in this clan to a another magnificent rise in WG. It's going to be hard but well make it through it we always have and we always will. Secure up If we make it through all 3 points the 4th point is the easiest. We test our new found strength to the limit. We see how many we can take on and what our limit is as a clan. We take on many of the top f2p and p2p RAW ranks and see who we can and cannot defeat. After this is done and we have tested our limit we will now know where we stand as a clan and as a whole. Once we know our limit we will decide what to do from there. We can keep on training our clan untill we cant anymore or we can continue to my next step. Release the Flow Once all of this is done WG will be back to its old self. We will re open applications but be extremely strict on who we choose to accept or not. The flow of WG will stop from Rising to falling and stay on rising. Clean Up: I carried out an event inactivity check by myself this week. I took the list of everyone in WG and checked if they had attended one event in the past two weeks. All those who hadn't received a pm from me, asking them to be more active. War attendance mandatory- I sincerely hope we do not do this.... I am often on for 1-2 hours before a war but then I have to go. This is because I have a life tbh. We have a war most saturday evenings and I like to go out on Saturdays with my friends and also on Saturday evenings we have a family dinner and normally sit down to watch a film. And yeah wars happen at like 8pm GMT/9pm GMT which is right in the middle of that time... --------------------    | ||||||

Lots of people will be upset about this and won't want to train. It should not be mandatory, but it would be nice if people had an incentive to train. Also, don't go around telling everyone to train combat, because that in itself is really extremely irritating, especially to skillers who don't like combat. I agree with this. Maybe offer some kind of reward type thing for training combat? Maybe something like skill badges to see who gained the most combat experience in a week/any other time period? --------------------  | ||||||

I believe that is what PS was for, but the ones that wanted to train combat continued to train combat, and the ones that didn't want to skilled and complained that they wanted SOTW back. Look who won... --------------------      | ||||||

I hate training combat but I've managed to do it anyway knowing it had to be done to help with the clan combat avg. That is enough incentive for me. It is helpful when clan members chat with me while I have to be bored out of my mind in combat. Thanks to some of the ones that actually stop by and train with me for a bit. My friend's list is out of control from all the coming and going of wg. Some people should get maybe a slightly longer time to reply based on their previous efforts in WG. If not, they'll be changed to emeritus/ex-member Close Up - I dont think that wg applications should ever really completely closed, but they should be stricter. We've made it more difficult already, but I would probably agree with some new level requirements (defence?)
