I can't sit back, read these posts, and watch whats happening to this Clan. This is my home...this was my home. I've spent the last 3 days going back and reading these Good-Bye posts, trying to understand whats apparently so wrong with us. I've finally come to realize what I have been trying to ignore, trying not to see. This isn't home anymore. Not to me...and it looks like it's the same for others that have been around as long, or even longer than I. When I first joined this Clan, I stopped calling it that after a few months. The Wilderness Guardians was not just a Clan to me anymore. It wasn't just a bunch of people playing a stupid game. This place became a home to me, and to so many more. I looked forward to coming home, sifting through the posts to see what had happened, what was changing. It's kind of sad that I can admit that, but heres something I'm not sad about admitting. Without this Clan. Without those people out there, people like Eugene, Jenny, Rick, Joe, Abs, Luke, Owen, both Jason's, Chad, soooo many more than I even want to write out right now. Hell, I'll even toss Moch into that equation. My enemies became my friends. The people I hated the most turned into some of the people that always helped me when I asked for it. Because of this Clan, and because of these people I am who I am today. Without WG...I would not have had the courage, nor the will to go back to school. I sure as hell wouldn't be trying to write a book, and I wouldn't see the world as I do now without all that I've been through here. Good and bad. It's truly made me. I'll never forget you guys for that. But now... Now when I look here, all I see are broken people. The once unwavering bonds that we had for each other, our iron will to stand through anything is slowly dissipating. Our home is falling apart. I can't watch it happen...and so now, I truly believe it is my time to move on. First off, I just want to say...Please don't argue with it. If your going to say "Well it might get better if you didn't leave" or "Leaving won't help us at all" --- Well, you are right. But I will not remain here if it is not the family I cared for...for so long. I won't watch you strive to be number one at a stupid game when it doesn't even matter. Friends is what matters, but once again that seems to be what you have lost. The only thing that unites you now is the want to be first. The need to be able to say you are better than the rest. That's not what WG is supposed to be...And I simply can't believe that is what we have become. I was one of the biggest, if not the most known for owning up to "WG4Lyfe" ... I still will be WG, I will be the true WG in my heart, the WG from memory. When the importance didn't lay in Wars and the game. When all that we needed to strive was our Community. And now, I must add... His Lordship Cockiest name EVER. You know that yourself. I love you Eugene. You were the heart of WG, and we were the blood that kept you pumping. I'm sorry it's come down to this...I can't even imagine how it feels for you, for how much it hurts me I feel could measure to every Member. You are still going to be there for when theres a movie adaption, aye?  You will always be my favorite Panda. Rick Hamm You are an asshole. A prick. Your the guy everyone loves to hate. Someone I would love to meet and punch in the jaw. But after that I'd have to take you out for something to eat, and thank you for all you have done for me. The truest father figure of WG. You were always there, no matter how harsh or caring. I'm sorry for putting you through all I have, but I am glad you were there to listen...for you are a huge part of who I am now. I'll never be able to thank you enough, Rick. Dorcha3377 Jenny. As wise as you are beautiful, you too were always there for me. We had our differences...I think mine and Rick's tiff was the only one that topped yours and mine.  But...we came out friends again, didn't we? And since then...I could never ask for a better person to talk to. You...You are the biggest reason I decided to go through with my writing. This isn't the WG that we all grew accustomed of, this isn't the place where we laid our hats, this isn't the place where fights between members meant great friendships afterwards. Hell, you and I prove that. I appreciate all you said about me and for being brutally honest. Hell, I am all those things and then some, however, one thing always remained constant and that was my devotion to this clan and the people in it. Whether we fought or not, in the end, I was always there. That was my job in this clan, I guess. I don't have any regrets with anything I've ever done and neither should you. You've turned out to be a great friend and an asset to this clan. I would take 10 of you over the majority of this clan right now and not even think twice. It's not the numbers that I care about, it's the lasting friendships and the fun that really flip my switch. You have a great life now James. You're going places even I didn't think you'd go. You've come a long way in such a short time and I'm proud to have been a part of it. Remember me in your book, I want a signed copy you doofus. Where do I start? If I'm totally honest it was only quite recently (recently as in these forums) that I've really got to talk to you james, but boy I am left with no doubts as to why you are held in such high esteem among the older members of WG. I don't think you need to be told you will be missed as you're smart enough to figure that out yourself... but rather don't be a stranger, keep your pretty face around here even if it must be in grey.
