Just wanted to check in. I didn't even realise we moved to new forums.
How is everyone doing?
I have been playing a lot of Ultima Online and programming.
I'm almost thinking in code at this point. =P
I am starting my programmers education in the summer and after that I want to move to england or to the states to get into video game programming professionally.
I am still programming for Grimson but it has slowed down a lot until I learn to program properly in C++
The engine our team bought sucked so I decided to program our engine from scratch.
How is everything in the clan?
By the way, is there anyway I can get my community rank back?
I was community on the old forums so I thought I'd ask.
Take care everyone and have fun.

Good to see you back! Unsure if you'll get your rank back or not, however. Not my line of work. =[

Sure there is Kiwi.
What language would you like to learn though?
C++ gives you ultimate power, it's the industry standart but it has a very steep learning curve.
C# is more geared towards beginners, still not easy but no where near as tough as C++
There's also a myriad of other languages, you pick a language and I'll tell you where to download it and get tutorials for it. =)

C# for a start i guess. I dont want to die....just learn a bit. Maybe when i can use it well ill ask for c++ but not yet lol.

Btw gratz on the smoking stop. Thats why you should only smoke pot, no cigs or anything else.....everything other than pot has chemicals. Pots more gudr than other icky addictive drugs.

My friends laugh at me when i tell them this but o well...

Then you need to go here.
Here you can select from the different microsoft products, select C# 2008.

Here are some tutorials:
Games tutorials, advanced.
Starting tutorials, beginner
More tutorials, beginner to intermediate.

Good luck.
