Our fighting sector requirements are generous at best. Many members agree that they should be raised, especially with the introduction of summoning. Here are my proposals for our new fighting sector requirements.

Current:-
QUOTE
Fighting Requirements

100 Combat
OR
95 Combat + 90 Magic
OR
95 Combat + 90 Range

80+ Defence
43+ Prayer
55+ Agility (Doesn't apply to F2p players)
Participation in at least one weekly wilderness event
Have fighting Equipment ready for use at all times

New:-
QUOTE
Fighting Requirements

105+ F2P Combat
OR
112+ P2P Combat

100+ F2P and 107+ P2P for those members that have 94+ Magic OR 92+ Ranged.

80+ Defence
60+ Prayer
55+ Agility (Doesn't apply to F2p players)
Participation in at least Two weekly wilderness event
Have fighting Equipment ready for use at all times
Teamspeak with willingness to connect during EVERY fighting event.
Agreement to attend fighting events if they are online at the time of the event. Unless a good reason can be provided.
5 Sets of P2P and F2P gear banked at all times.

The gear requirement will be enforced via having new members post a picture of their pk gear. Spot-checks will be carried out while massing for raids.

i think should only have f2p combat and then have extra requirements if you want to include summoning the same as magic or range
but i have no idea what 7cmb lvls is in summoning

We do well at Pking without 107+ combat, why 60+ prayer? You can pot in p2p and for the f2p members, It's hard to get 60+ prayer.

Agreed. Combat requirements don't really matter, but enforcing attendance really does.

I would only like to see the gear requirement from this enforced.
We barely have members now, I think we need to keep at 100.

I agree with the new rules except for one. The 60+ Prayer. It is very wise for you to have it, however it is not practical as a requirement.

tbh it should just be f2p combat, until someoen finds a good use for summoning in wild (unless they already have ll)

If these requirements do become an addition, I will fail a number of things; 105+ f2p combat, that will be easy, no complaints. However, 112 P2P combat, I will just train up my combat instead of summoning, so no complaints there. 60+ prayer I will get willingly, but the 5 sets I will fail until I sort my bank out. Currently my banks worth is hovering over 3m. Without selling my training and skilling stuff I spend everything I have on sets. Until I get 85 mining I will not be able to get 5 sets of p2p and f2p.

As you can tell - I voted no.

However, after thinking about it, when I voted, I was thinking for myself. Not the clan. These requirements will benefit WG alot more than the current reqs do. I will just have to take a step out from the fighting sector when the requirements are impleneted, get the levels and the bank and then re-join smile.gif.

If we want to bring up the fighting sector again, our conduct in BH need to improve as well. By that, I mean the attire needs to be clearly stated - for eg. No Brown skulls in both f2p/p2p.

You can have 5 sets and stuff in the bank but bring shiate in BH.. Not too good for our image in my opinion - that's why I was never really fond of Mage/Range only F2P trips.

My point is - The reqs. look fine if that's the standard we want to achieve in future but other aspects have to go along too. I think the question is whether our current members are ready and able cope with these changes.

Mm I voted yes, but i have mixed views about this.
I agree we need to boost member numbers at the moment, then possibly think about changing the reqs.
Although those are good reqs and should suit fine.
(As long as we get more mid-week fighting events going)

I had to vote no... there's no way I could ever get 5 p2p sets, 5 f2p is hard enough for me to get.

So, if these are implemented, I may also have to step out of fighting sector for a bit until I make some money ._.

But, damn... I'm not even full member yet T_T

I'd like to see some increases, but I doubt we should even take into account the P2P combat levels. They really don't serve that much of a purpose, except making our levels look higher.

We should just go by F2P combat levels as the requirements. So 105+ F2P should be alright, however at this moment I don't think it's a great idea to start restricting people from the clan, seeing as how we're not in the best possible state.

The gear is a great idea.

Personally, I don't think the 60+ Prayer should be applied to F2P, even though it would be good, it doesn't serve a much of a purpose as it does for P2P, besides tanking. I'm sure we've all got higher than 43 Prayer, and close to or above 60+, so no need to make it a requirement. P2P, I think is good, just to boost our combat abilities.

Haven't voted yet, still deciding what to say...

Personally, I nulled my vote. I may be technically in the fighting sector, but in reality I am not, so I shouldn't vote for or against rules which really don't apply for me.

However, I *will* comment on these requirements:

QUOTE
Fighting Requirements

105+ F2P Combat
OR
112+ P2P Combat

100+ F2P and 107+ P2P for those members that have 94+ Magic OR 92+ Ranged.
80+ Defence
60+ Prayer
55+ Agility (Doesn't apply to F2p players)

Why not simplify things and remove the Combat requirements - Just specify hitpoints and attack/str requirements.
60+ Prayer is a bit high. 50+ would be better, especially for F2P - heck, in f2p, 43-45 would be fine.
QUOTE

Participation in at least Two weekly wilderness event

This assumes that there are two weekly wilderness events in your timezone - I think we could do better - have you have to attend 3 events per event in your timezone per month - so, if there was one event in your timezone(or times you are online), you would have to attend at least 3 times - for two, 6 times in a month. This would take care of the "too few events" problem.
QUOTE

Have fighting Equipment ready for use at all times

This seems fine on paper, but what are you going to do if the guy lost all 5 sets of rune in one event, the day before?
QUOTE

Teamspeak with willingness to connect during EVERY fighting event.

I strongly dissagree with this - Not all of us have a good enough computer to run it without lagging, and would it really be worth it to sacrifice members, or have them lag and not be able to fight effectively because of it? I think not.

IRC on the other hand... Definitely. Any computer that can run Runescape can run IRC without lagging, and while its going to be harder to type out, it, like Teamspeak, can organize people without people in the game knowing whats going on.
QUOTE

Agreement to attend fighting events if they are online at the time of the event. Unless a good reason can be provided.

This is perfectly fine by me.
QUOTE

5 Sets of P2P and F2P gear banked at all times.

So, how am I supposed to have 5 sets of P2p gear? I am f2p! confused.gif
Sorry, I had to say that. lol.gif
Anyway, thats a little hard to do - what if someone goes to an event and loses all 5 sets? Will he be banned if he doesn't have them the next day?
It also might encourage people having 6 sets - one to actually use, and 5 for show - you can't use those because if you do, you risk being banned.

I suggest changing this to just having a set of gear ready at all times - If you lose all your sets at an event, you have 48 hours to get at least one set back, or until the next event, whichever is longer. If you *don't* have one at said event, you have to talk to council or w/e and explain your situation.
