But stating that us, as 'old school' members are BETTER than them and know what's best for the clan, isn't the right way to look at it. Also whenever someone comes onto the forum and say how much WG has changed (for the worse) and how it will never return to its former glory in the old days just creates drama! I. HATE. DRAMA. And we all have had our fair share of it. So don't add to it. I think joining mid-2005 is good enough for me to say this to those old school members out there without getting back an argument that I'm not old enough to understand what WG is all about. I don't go around stating how I was once a Primary Leader so that I know what's best for the clan and no one that hasn't been a primary leader know jack crap about how to run it. So let's all sit back, relax, and let the current WG play it out without adding unnecessary drama. Old school know what the clan needs because they've been there. Actually Steve, I think the point is the Old School want WG to be what it was like before because that's where they feel they belong, it feels like home to them. They're not saying Old School is Better than New School, they're saying they belong in the WG that had them when they were New School way back when. It may not be bluntly said, but there is definite implication of it. And yes Stoke you may be right but i'm pretty sure when "old school" were there, i'm pretty sure they were "new school"? So... what are you trying to say? This is a learning process we are going through, so stop making it so much more difficult then it needs to be. It may seem like you're offering help, but to the majority of us it just looks like "Old school has gud brains" "New school know nothing" p.s i hate using the terms old school and new school. Am I the only one who finds that offensive...... As a staff member It is appauling , dispicable for someone to say to the current WG staff "you are doing a shit job, your clan is failing, you suck", because in your sentence that is essentially what you said.... You left because you couldn't hack it, you couldn't handle the stress the position of council demands. Please leave us alone, stop making drama-starting topics and let the current staff do their jobs. WG has changed YES I KNOW THAT. Who is to say that it hasn't changed for the better. I don't even want to hear a word about "Old School" anymore. Really there is no difference, if you don't think New School can run the clan then just leave til you think we can. If you miss the old days, they're gone. Come back when you feel like we've done our job. But please I'm so sick of it, I'm sure our "New school" members are pretty annoyed, as you can see I'm even pissed off. True that. For example. In the 1800s, there was a negative correlation between people who wore top hats, and people who contracted cholera. This does not mean however that top hats were a vaccine for cholera. It was simply that the people wearing the top hats were from a better background, so probably had a cleaner water supply. Correlation does not prove cause, it can suggest and imply it, but further investigation is still needed. I studied Statistics. -------------------- | ||||||||

If you read my post properly, you'd realise I was agreeing with Karl. That although times MAY have been better with the "old school", there is much more to consider than just the members. I am saying that the Jagex updates are definately one of the factors contributing to the change in WG. -------------------- | ||||||||
