Ever wanted to share this small tip with your clan mates that you feel is not worthy of a whole guide? Ever wanted this small piece of info that isnt usually written in guides? Well this thread is for you!

It's simple: Everyone posts any tips they want to share, and it gets posted in this thread, therefore we have all small tips in one thread!

I'll divide this into skill section depending on how many tips we get.

P.S. This was originally made in TDM so this idea isn't original tongue.gif

General Runescape tips:
  • Cooking at lumbridge stove makes you burn less food
  • Using body talismans and making them into tiaras is great RC xp for F2P if they sell on GE.
  • If you're going to train a skill that is buyable just to avoid money losses, think of this first: How fast can you make the money back? If you need about 5m to buy this skill, 30 hours to train it without using cash and 10 hours to make the cash back. The best thing to do to save time and money would be to buy the skill, because you can make the money back faster than if you saved your money and trained the skill without money losses.
  • When using Kingdom management, if you put 9 workers in maples you'll get the same amount of nests if it was 10.
  • Using a one click bank, such as the one in castle wars when fletching or doing alot of banking will save you alot of time, and is much easier in the long run.
  • If someone you don't know tells you an item to merchant, don't use it since good merchanters never tell you a real good item to merchant, but you should try buying few amounts of the item in question and try it out just in case.
  • Never have 100% run energy.
If you have more tips you'd like to share, just post and I'll edit it, hopefully we'll get this huge and if it does happen to get large then I'll organize it to tips per skill.

Credits list:
TDM for the main idea.
For Sooth - One click bank idea.
Karel Dude: Run tip
Zeth007: Merch tip.

People who contributed with tips will be posted here.

Getting around 14 kc or so in barrows on skeletons has slightly better chances in giving you drops (Tested and proved, although different KC's may work as well).

This just isnt' true, any drop count associated (specifically Barrows items, not runes etc) is pure coincidence, Jagex have said before it does NOT affect it.

It's not totally untrue.

Killcount does not effect the rate at which you get Barrows items. HOWEVER, getting more KC DOES increase the amount of runes/coins you get from your chest.

The KC doesn't determine what you get. You have to think of it like every time you kill something, the drop goes in the chest. That's why KC effects the quantity.

For example, if you have 6 KC(the brothers) and kill one Bloodworm, you will have 7 KC and in your chest you will receive a Barrows Item(if you're lucky) and 15 Blood Runes. (this is a random number, I don't know the actual drop rates.)

Then you continue to kill Bloodworms until you're 10 KC. So you've killed a total of 4 Bloodworms, and assuming the rate of the Blood Rune drops are constant, in your chest you will have a Barrows Item and 45 Blood Runes.

From what I know, Bloodworms drop Blood Runes, Skeletons drop Death Runes, and other assorted ones drop Chaos and Minds. As well as coins.

Please note, I don't know the exact drop rates or anything.

I second this!

I never have 100% energy, You should always have it constantly recharging to get the most effect out of your RS experience
