Unneeded.
It just gives people the sense that WG is in the slumps. We need to adopt the attitude that we are on our way up, and we have to start enjoying WG for what it is, flaws and all.

Tbh I partially, no mostly agree.
Ever since this was created by Thomas, I have seen nothing but drama topics in here, which I have stopped posting on because they make me sick....

If ex-members do have important things to suggest they can either pm the council/staff with them or like use the guest forum,...

The concept is good. It gives ex-staff to give their output on things. For the most part it will be negative; Why would you make a post in here about WG doing good?

It will probably eventually die down though, but where else can ex-staff make a open ended discussion with other current/ex?

I like this forum, it keeps some of the drama in here and out of the guest forum (where it is viable to all).

...but...but, where else can we devolve a topic into talking about bagels without getting it locked?!

*very sad face*

Lol, for most topics in the house of random talking about bagels would actually be evolving the topic. What I am talking about is devolving a perfectly legitimate topic into aimless conversations of mundane irrelevancy.

That simply cannot be done in the house of random.

You summarized your post about deleted forums as:

QUOTE
Deleting the excess forums makes our forums look smaller. Why is that good? Because is makes posting easier. People scan through so many forums and think "Why bother checking them all? I certainly don't check them all. Condense the forums, attract more members. That's how it goes.

And really I don't think this forum qualifies for those reasons for deletion since not a lot of people can see it in the first place, and it's also, as mentioned earlier in the topic, a good place for the older members to discuss their constant issues and concerns without completely flooding the more public forums with it.

If it has to go though, do so by all means. Not the end of the world either way.

Pali by that Gene means that people (ie the clan member) see too many forums.
Not the general public who can't see many anyway.

George, pali's getting at the fact that its an ex-staff forum so only staff and old staff can see it - hence the normal clan member cannot see it.

As people have said, the concept has good but we haven't seen its productive side yet. I'm on the fence on this one.

I learned from Evil that avocado and smoked salmon is good on bagels. I still have yet to try it, but since I run out of ideas for what to do with lunch I consider his culinary input as being very productive.

Ffs, I want more choice for my bagels.
I don't even eat bagels o.O

But yeah, I can't see what's wrong with keeping it, but if it has to go, it goes neko2.gif
