Well i came up with a new idea in order to help improve our warring skills in smaller matched opt wars or at the end of a larger war as that is the vital time. The idea is this we all sign up and form teams for a number of small inter clan wars for practice and for bragging rights. So we form up teams of around 10 to 20 people and we take a wider variety of levels and skills i will make sure the teams are balanced equally if 1 team is doing a lot better then another we may swap. This is so we can help these people to improve as the best way to improve is to war.

It would be run as a league and then we could do it over a number of seasons see who is the best overall and give under banners to the winning team. Obviously there wont be enough leaders for all teams so people will be required to step up and maybe a twist like you cant have the same leader for 2 fights in a row so everyone has a chance to lead and will make it more interesting. Team name will be decided amongst members. We will try to make the times a good time on a weekend so that every1 possible is able to attend. Most likely to be matched opts.

Comments please

I actually have been considreing making something similar to this

Members would be put into teams randomly, and compete in various activities. Heres one I thought up a while ago:

QUOTE
Members are placed into two teams, with both teams choosing a tank. Both teams will try to prevent the other team's tank from reaching the other side (Of cwa maybe) using binds. The team who's tank reaches the end first wins

Needs tweaking, but not a bad idea in general.

I generally think this is a bad idea, and i've already voiced my concerns with you but i suppose i may as well post them here also.

I turn your attention back to the CWPL, and compare it to the time before when we did random full outs/matched opts wars, where we had excellent turnouts and good warring ethos. Then when the CWPL began, with the wars that needed commitment from all members, our community began to degrade. Why? My theory is the constant commitment that was required caused uneeded stress etc in the community.

I'm all for random Intra-Clan wars with random teams; but not selecting teams way in advance would once again give the sense of commitment that members just dont want to have to put forward. I'm not saying that commitment is a bad thing, but when you in particular are being counted on to make an appearance at a specific time on a regular basis, that causes undeeded stress.

I'd suggest that if you wanted Intra-Clan wars, to organise these sort of events every now and then.

I doubt we could pull more than 10 people a team which would just be boring in my opinion and those wars last like 1 hour.

Why not just do inter clan war?

Mugger, you think everything is a bad idea, i acctually like this idea. Interclan tornies sounds fun and will allow people to get used to it. We have interclan wars, why not step it up?

  • I have thought the past two ideas posted in this forum have had plenty of negative aspects and have pointed them out. Two is a fair bit off 'every', so I'd love to advise you to check your information biggrin.gif
  • People are welcome to express their opinions over these forums. I am expressing mine in a mature way.
  • The logistics of ensuring that all of each team turns up to their designated war are minimal. This will result in uneven teams and therefore demoralization. Thus why I'm a strong believer in 'random' intra-clan wars wherein the teams can be made even at the time based on the actual turn-out.
  • Interclan wars also allow people to get used to warring. As well as war training sessions, and actual wars.
  • Change for the sake of change is not always the right thing to do.

I agree that Andrew is a great WG member and why hasn't he been promoted?

He is very helpful too. I see him loaning and helping out alot of members. If he was up on a ballot alot of us would vote for him.

Great Ideas Andrew. <3333 I'm sure they could be twicked to work.

Intra clan wars.

Like the breakfast team wars or w/e they were, created division among the clan, unless you want to risk/experiment.
